He was the professor for Solar Energy Utilization and also my Graduate Advisor. Prof. Ingley is probably one of the most knowledgeable engineers I have met so far. His ability to bring real world engineering problems to the classroom enables the students to understand the importance of the subject and Mechanical Engineering as a whole.

Awesome teacher! Teaches the subject through real world examples, will answer all questions through email or phone call, really wants to help students out. Yes, you could do ok in the class without learning anything, but that's up to you. I learned a lot without stressing out too much.

He is an amazing teacher, very interesting, and extremely easy. Perfect if you want to learn with minimal stress. He will go over the exams before you take them. He just changes the numbers. And the homework is very easy if you pay attention in class. There was some work at the end of the class when the project is due. But amazing professor!

Yes, the class is easy, but I'd rather have learned something. This prof doesn't teach, he just gives the answers to make it seem like his students are learning.

This professor is absolutely phenomenal. Anyone can pass with a good grade in his class. Tests are pretty easy just attend class and pay attention to what he says. Very nice guy. Though an A is a 96 in his class which means you can't mess up.

The previous reviews are no joke, this is THE best professor I have had so far at UF. He really cares about students and wants to see everyone do well. He makes a difficult subject as easy as probably anyone ever could. He GIVES you the tests if you go to class, seriously. Tells you ever problem that will be on. Not difficult at all to get an A

Dr. Ingley is quite possibly one of the best professors that the University of Florida has to offer. This is not debatable. If you take him for Thermo (I had him for regular thermo, not "baby" thermo), and study his notes and do the homework that is only assigned once a week, then you are GUARANTEED an A. He truly loves his students and teaching.

I'm sure this class is a cakewalk with any professor, but Dr. Ingley was good for it since he's worked in the real world a lot, and dealt with all the issues at hand.

Dr. Ingley is the best engineering professor at UF. He's actually down to earth and doesn't make the class hard at all. Highly recommended for tech electives. His homeworks are lax and he gives you a practice exam to study with that pretty much mirrors the actual test.

This was not an easy class, but Ingley scheduled extra study sessions (usually 2 a week), pushed back tests, and demonstrated genuine concern for the students.
