He is hard to understand and his handwriting is downright atrocious, yes, but as long as you show up and attempt the worksheets he gives, you'll get an A or B easy. He gives you past versions of the exams each class for 2 weeks before the exam date as practice, there is no way to fail unless you don't try

All I heard was bad things about this professor, but honestly if you show up to class everyday and use the handouts to study for the exams (the questions are the same, but with different numbers on the test). You don't need to memorize formulas because he gives you a formula sheet. You just need to know how to use them. Keep in mind: ASK FOR HELP!

He is an amazing teacher, even through his heavy accent he is very skilled at explaining and showing one visually how the problem is ment to be tackled. This is a math class, Those that struggle are not paying attention, he goes over problems as . Also, skipping class is not a good thing to do because he doesn't require homework or a book.

Comment:

Who on earth decided a man with the thickest accent in the world should teach a difficult math topic? Bahari is a nice guy and his handouts are really helpful, but it is so hard to follow what he is saying and his handwriting is completely illegible. Thankfully, he grades nice, so a B is definitely possible if you put in the work.

Very hard to do well in his class. I got a 72% on the first test and a 45% on the second test. The final was so hard, I think I only got 2 of them right. I am praying for a passing grade.

Good: Gives you exactly what you need to know. Mostly fine. Bad: Isn't clear all the time. Thick accent. HW doesn't always match examples in class. Visit him about the HW problems that don't match in-class examples. He'll explain it well enough that you have what you need. Textbook used only for HW problems. Nothing else. Enjoy.

Bahari is one of the only professors to take something you learned in middle school, and complicate the hell out of it. He will take the entire time discussing something most professors can teach in 5 minutes. His assignments and tests are not clear, and his accent means you will NOT understand him.

Tests and quizzes on material not covered in depth. E.g. he'll cover a type of problem in depth, but test on a cousin not covered in great depth. You'll have the material (one page of notes or an exercise from him), but it won't stick. Good news: he grades on a curve. I failed a quiz and a test and aced a quiz and a test and the HW. Received a B.

Very difficult class! He must have used curve or I would have done really badly! Final is very hard! He grades very hard on tests, which usually have about 5 questions, but you mess up one question and your grade goes from an A to a C instantly. So glad to be done with this class! Bpok is $250, share with someone, only used 4 homework problems

He seems nice. Tests are hard! Even if you totally use the right equations, but make 1 small mistake, you get whole problem wrong with no credit at all. No help on what to study for the final. Only need book for homework problems, share with someone if you can, they are expensive!

Had Bahari for 367/368/490. If you want to learn something too bad. He's the only teacher of these classes so you have to take them with him. He is funny and gets off subject easy but he needs more structure. It is way to easy for senior level classes. You can skip once a week and still get an A because the class moves way too slow.

Had him for Regressions, and Operations and thought he was great. Subject matter is very hard - but he does a great job with it. He is willing to help you and answer questions. He was my advisor as well and was great in that role too. Note: you don't have to go to class but it will make your life easier. LOVE HIS HAIR!!! PRICELESS!!

Hamid's handwriting and teaching were often difficult to understand, he was very willing to help stay after class to help. Also gave practice tests and went over the answers along with the processes of getting those answers. If you show up to class and are willing to put forth a little effort, this class is a very possible A.

Hamid, as I know him, was my advisor for my business major at WOU. I've known him for years so I guess I know him better than others (his daughter is my best friend since second grade). He has such a sense of humor that others don't see - one time - we pushed him into a pool suit and all! He also drives like a maniac and shaves in the car. But he is totally the one I give credit to for my success in the field of Marketing today. Get to know him - he has a lot of knowledge to share.
