Econometrics is the hardest class I've ever taken, and Hany doesn't make it any easier. He will help you if you ask for help, but it might not do you any good cause the tests are extremely hard. However, you will learn more with him than with any other teacher.

Hardest class I've taken. Would have avoided it if I had known it would be like this. No one takes him and for good reason. Hard material, teaches it WAY to fast, and expects you to be a genius coming in. Has the whole class basically praying to get a C so they can simply graduate. If your an athlete especially -- AVOID!!

Class is hard, be ready to study and work hard. Hany is extremely smart and very helpful. You'll learn a lot, put in the work it's worth it. If you work hard, you'll come out of this class with a lor of financial knowledge. The guy's smart, listen to what he says, he knows what he is talking about.

Excellent Course with an end of semester research project that will be impressive to bring on interviews. The class is not as difficult as FIN420 or Econometrics, but is still very relevant to a career in Finance. Take this class, be prepared to work, but feel satisfied where your tuition money is going

Hany is very tough. If you are not passionate about a career in Finance do not take him. He expects you to work for your grade and he will push you to your limits. Those who bash him havent a clue. He is one of the few Fin/Econ professors that give you the skills for a career. Keep pushing the standard hany

The man is too smart, but he knows this. His classes are more than challenging but if you try he WILL reward you! Do not give up! Manhattan College needs more professors like him. Dont take his challenges as a set up for failure. In the end you'll thank him!

You know, I could sit here and bash the guy but I'll be very honest and concise. Your effort in the course is directly correlated to your final grade. If you show the effort and try, you will survive. If not, you don't deserve to pass considering he's always around to help and gives many chances for you to show you're putting forth the effort.

OK. nice guy and all but all the niceness in the world doesn't make u a good teacher. The material is hard enough without the horrible english no offense and the SPEED at which he teaches. there is no detailed explination of what hes teaching u each day he just flies by everything. i might take him again if mandatory.

Very Hard. Has no problem failing half the class. Try to go to him for extra credit as often as possible. Final is worth 60% of your grade.

Yes, he is extremely hard. But oddly enough, this was the only class I got an A in all semester. Just shows that if I put enough work into my other classes as I did this one, I would be a 4.0 student. He's not an easy A, you have to study and understand the material, but if you do study and learn the material, you will get out with at least a B.

This guy cares but all the caring in the world doesn't make you a good teacher. Students with 4.0s in thier majors had their dreams end with him. By the end you will gladly sell your soul for a B-.

very hard class. He does not "negotiate" your grade. instead he weights your final for 60% of your grade. He is an extremely nice guy and he cares so much about his students but he goes very fast. you will have to be extremely smart or work your butt off to get an A. you should be able to get a b- though without too much stress. Still, he is hard

Wow, this class was a disaster. You can't listen to him lecture for more than 10 minutes without getting bored, so you're left teaching the material to yourself. I could never break a 55 on his exams despite having gotten a 700 on my math SATs. I have no doubt that he cares, but actually being a good teacher is important too.

Hany will help you pass! I am living proof! He will fail you every single test, 8-10 people will drop his class before the midterm. If you are persistent, make HUGE ASS cheat sheets, and pass the final with a 50 or higher (based on a deal) you will get a "C" in the class. YAY!!! Also, get the old tests, and get a tutor too Drop class if you can not
