Class was pretty easy and straightforward. Class consisted of a midterm, final exam, 4 group projects, and an guest speaker occasionally. Lectures are long and boring as he reads directly off PowerPoint. My only complaint is that he has a really bad accent and speaks very quietly. I sat in the front row and couldn't understand him half the time..

Dr. Prasad is hilarious. He explains every lab procedure really thoroughly before you start the experiments too. If you took Chem 147, this lab is a lot easier because you split the lab report between several people. Also I found the experiments were less demanding. As long as you prepare you'll be totally fine. It helps that Prasad is a good prof

Prasad is an amazing professor. He is extremely serious about chemistry and you learning from the course. He wants you to understand what you are doing in the class, as long as you read over lab outlines and apply yourself you will do more than fine in his lab. Overall great professor and not to mention he has an unreal sense of humor. total sav

Gen. Chem. 2 lab with Prasad was easier than Gen. Chem. 1lab. He goes through every step of the experiment with the class before you begin, he's available for any questions you have throughout the lab. I would go directly to him instead of the TAs because one of his TAs was not the most helpful. Only thing I didn't like was the in class quizzes :(

He was a great professor & very understanding. He made the labs very clear & easy to do. Lab reports were lengthy, but you work with your lab group to turn in only 1 report, so when you work in a group it really takes off the load. He made very snarky comments, but as long as you got on his good side, they were funny.

Very easy class for MIS-300. 4 group assignments (Maybe a hour for each is required). A midterm and final (open book / use of internet). Basically if you show up you'll get an A. Not much is required, so if you're a MIS major, with no self motivation (need to be told to learn), then you might want to take a different professor. Nice guy. Recomend

LOVE this guy! He is so adorable, so nice, super easy class, nicest guy ever you can tell he is super smart. Everyone did well in my class, open book mid term and final, attendance is not mandatory, lots of guest speakers, no hw. You will get an A if you do the midterm, final, and team assignments. Be respectful to him he deserves it.

You are in groups of four and turn in everything as a group. This is good if you have motivated, intellectual lab partners, but bad if you don't. Prasad is hard to understand and can be grumpy. Not AS strenuous as Chem 1 but still very time consuming. Do all the work and you'll be fine. A few post lab quizzes get mixed in here and there.

I had him fall 2013. I'm not very good at chem but I had to take it. He was very rude when my partner and I asked him for clarification. From that moment, we just avoided him and asked the lab assistant, who was very nice. Very condescending. I hated chem even more after the semester.

One of the best professors I've had at Oakland. No one likes going to lab but he is enthusiastic about his job and he is excited to teach you if you are willing to learn. If you are nice to him and show him you're there to get the work done, he will help you out so much! He's only condescending if you're being stupid and he knows you didn't prepare

Dr. Prasad is awesome! He is helpful and sometimes funny! People always think he'll be mean if you go to office hours, but he isn't! So don't be afraid to ask him any questions directly!

I found him a rather unpleasant person. When he explained something to the class he'd be cool and makes jokes and all that but if you ever need help with something he's incredibly rude and dead set on making you feel stupid. Overall the lab was ok though, just go to a TA first if you need help.

He likes to make jokes about stuff going on in class/people, but he's usually nice about it. If you don't do labskills he will be on your ass like crazy. Nice guy overall, just work hard on labs and do labskills and you should do fine. DO NOT wait until last minute for lab's because they're hard!

Had him for chem lab for 2 semesters (157 and 158). He can be kind of condescending and rude at times, but once you get past that, you'll see that he's nice and is willing to help. Doesn't always explain the post-lab work very well, but he's usually good with explaining the procedures. Take him if you can. Funny guy too, isn't it?

Took him for lab. He has an accent but not bad. Come to class prepared or he gets mad but in a funny way. He likes to make jokes about students which made class fun. The labs are pretty straight forward and the T.A.'s help you but the lab reports are really hard and they grade picky so don't wait last minute to do them! You can find answers online.
