3 exams (35 mult. choice, 50 minutes) & the final exam. Syllabus quiz, ethics case, & a comprehensive case. He doesn't make the tests, the dept. does. Dr. Etheridge is a nice man, gets off subject A LOT! Goes over material fast because the class has a strict schedule. You pretty much teach yourself, you MUST do the homework & study to learn & pass!

Accounting was a tough course but Etheridge made it easier. He gave bonus points for going to tutoring which saved my grade. Lots of work but in accounting none of the UL professors get to grade tests or make tests. Teaches well, tells lots of stories

Eh, kind of middle of the road. He's an okay guy and not the worst teacher there. You can pass this class if you pay attention.

He likes to tell stories in class to help students relate to the materials. He lectures and does homework in class. If you attend class and pay attention, the class can actually be interesting. The only thing is that the departmental tests can be crazy hard and discouraging.

Dr. Etheridge makes this class much harder than what it needs to be. This guy is not friendly, has a dry sense of humor and he is the only one laughing at his own jokes. Tests are very hard esp MC and there is an long essay to memorize. He does not pull exams from a teachers Test Bank bc he knows students have access to them Hard Group project

Was sick this semester and taught myself ch.5-11, so I didn't make it to class much. But if you have mild intelligence and the book it is possible to learn the material yourself. The book is imperative. At first I thought he was quite rude when he told me to drop the class from being behind, but once I proved myself he turned out to be a nice guy.

He won't teach you anything you don't need to know for the exams. He sticks to the schedule. He likes to add some humor in his lectures. There is homework, but he goes over the correct answers in class, giving you even more study material. It's not impossible to make an A in his class with all of the resources provided. I would take him again.

He is pretty laid back, Acct 201 is a hard course and a lot of work but he is a pretty good teacher, he gives the homework that's due at the end of the semester in class. He is a good cool teacher and enjoyed him for accounting

Good teacher! Accounting is not easy, but he explains the stuff well. Much more helpful than the last woman I took this class with. Departmental exams are killers. If you have to take ACCT 201, I recommend taking it with him.

Talks about his wife and previous jobs too much. He doesn't spend time actually explaining what he's teaching, just flys through the power points. Doesn't really stop long enough for questions. He does do homework in class so that's a plus, you don't worry if it's wrong or not. You'll pretty much be teaching yourself. Was never very helpful

Dr. Etheridge does a good job teaching this class. His tests are consistent with the chapter, his quizzes are an accurate indicator of where your weaknesses are, and his lectures are concise. He understands what his objective is as an instructor of an MBA class.

He really knows his stuff.If you go to class and do the homework and study you should do fine but you gotta go to class. He is very helpful and always answered questions during class. He helps as much as he can even though he is very limited because the accounting department is so strict. Nice guy and good teacher.
