Very good teacher. Very helpful in her office hours but very strict during class. Do all the homework she assigns and you will be fine for the test. This can be a very hard class if you have the wrong teacher but she is very good.

Very good teacher. Hard class. DO THE HOMEWORK!! and Go to class. She gives you 10 bonus points at the end of the semester if you're never absent or only miss one day. Tests are hard (they're departmental exams). Also, word of advice, do the homework sheets she doesn't assign while you're on that chapter, or youll be flooded w/ work during finals.

Very good teacher. Just do the homework she assigns, it helps you understand better anyways. Some people say she's mean but if you don't give her a reason to be she's a great person. I loved her and she was always nice to me. The only reason I got a c in the class was because I slaked off a lot that semester.

No nonsense teacher. She's there to teach, not hold your hand. Most people are afraid to ask questions, but so long as it isn't a dumb question, she won't chew you out. She has no problem calling someone out in front of the class so don't take her if you have thin skin. She does have tendency to mispeak.

Her class is not easy but that is bc accounting is not easy. She explains everything until you have a clear grasp on it and is VERY helpful. Make sure you read your chapters before going to class and that you study for tests and know what your are doing. Tests are very tricky but not if you study. She is an AWESOME teacher!

Test were all department made, but weren't hard. Final is comprehensive. She was a good teacher and made everything clear. She also checked homeworking on a surprise basis, so make sure to do the homework. Doing the homework if both helpful with points and for at the end of the semester so you don't have everything built up. The case was easy.

Very strict! Attendance is mandatory. You must keep up with homework and readings to pass. She will grade you hard, make you work, and kick your a**, but when you leave out of that room, you'll know your accounting.

she is a good teacher. very strict. and picks favorites. but is also fair to other students. doesn't take any crap during class. do the assigned homework, and read the chapters and you should be ok. she talks down to you, but makes the material easy to understand. i would take her class again.

She really is a great teacher. I have taken the class with other teachers & no one has made acct so clear. She has everything you will need, but you have to come to class prepared, having read the chapters & your hmwk completed. She goes over it pretty fast but if you did it, simply catch ur mistake & move on. TAKE HER! But kno she means business!!

Mrs. Scheuermann is among the best in the acct dept., and it shows by the many students that take her more than once. I go out of my way to schedule her. She's very helpful, makes what is expected VERY clear, and has a nice sense of humor. She may come across as a ruthless southern woman at first, but she cares about students and knows her stuff!

She is a great teacher! She expects a lot out of her students and wants her students to learn the material. Do your working papers and read the chapters. A lot of studying but she will help you. I signed up for her for ACCT 202. Take her!
