Didnt interact with the professor so I cant say much about him as it was an online class. The actually material was okay, the textbook is heavily used so you cannot skip buying/renting it. A lot of reading, but only a few homework assignments and discussion board posts. The reading was mainly for tests and quizzes.

This class composed of me showing up, printing out the powerpoints notes, writing a few quick notes, and studying the day before the test and I got a high A. I would recommend attending class, he is very good at his lectures and explains the material in a way you wont forget so you do not really have to take notes. Test are only thing in gradebook.

He allows you to work at your own pace. 3 homework assignments, a few tests, and a final. There are two discussions for the whole semester. The tests weigh heavy on your grade, because there are few assignments in the course. I liked him. His powerpoints were nice, and you were able to have study guides for each test/final.

Great professor! He organizes his lectures through Powerpoints unlike Prof Lucado who is extremely unorganized. Gives no homework, grade is based off of tests, which he gives study guides for. As long as you know your study guide you will pass the tests and class. He has a dorky old sense of humor I found funny. Absolutely recommend.

He is straight-forward with what he wants from you. Look over the power points, read the material, and the tests aren't that difficult.

I took his class for both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. He is a hilarious teacher who is very educational. The classes grading is only four tests and one final exam. The power points are specific and lectures are what needed to pass the class. The textbook in not necessary and extra credit questions might be given.

I took Prof. Floyd for both Macro and Micro and loved it. The class is simple. Attend lectures, take notes, read the textbook if you want to, and study for the five tests (which is the only work you'll do on campus). Totally recommend for an easy A!

I took this professor for another course and loved him, however, he is not the "cool" teacher people perceive him to be, which I was ok with. After taking him a second time around, I was caught off guard at his complete lack of communication with me as a student (I took his other class in person). He is incredibly demeaning and disrespectful.

Very easy class. You can pass without ever writing anything down. No homework. There's 4 tests and a final. He goes over Powerpoints in class and provides them to you. All you have to do is go over the powerpoint the day before the test and you'll get an A. Don't need the textbook. The tests consist of the Powerpoints. Gives a review before tests.

Floyd takes attendence randomly throughout the semester. If you miss a lot your grade will reflict it. Textbook is required to recieve a good grade. He gives you the basics but expects you to go into the textbook to learn more about it. It will be benefital on the tests. Only 4 tests and one final exam . No he does not drop your lowest test no more

Took this online. Take notes of the power points. If it's on the power point, it will be on the test. Spent maybe 4 hours weekly on this. He lists everything out so you know exactly what is due and when. Only criticism is that he doesn't always open the assignment until right before it's due. It's a boring topic, but he brings in great videos, etc.

I took professor Floyd for both macro and micro in one semester. If you plan I doing this, I highly recommend. He takes attendance about 75% of the time but he doesn't not make it manatdory to show up to every class. He only does tests for grades and no homework. It is an easy B but need to work a bit harder to receive an A.

This class can be passed by reading the powerpoints but if you want to get an A read the chapters in the book. I took it online. Professor Floyd is very fair with the amount of time given to take the tests. He did not really try to trick us in the tests. If you do the homework and the quizzes you should do well on the tests.

Overall very straight forward class, all notes taken in class are posted online. Lectures are long & sometimes will go on tangents but he knows the material & makes things clear by the end of the lecture. Attendance isn't mandatory but I wouldn't recommend skipping class either. He drops your lowest test grade but only if you take all 5 tests

I've taken him online for two semesters now for both macro and micro econ. To shortly summarize he offers really no help, so basically it's all on you. I asked for help multiple times and he never did anything. I Passed both classes with A's but i didn't honestly learn anything.

Took microeconomics this past semester with professor Floyd and I really enjoyed it. Class attendance isn't mandatory but I highly recommend, very straight-forward, gives us the material we need for tests, curves, and only 4 tests. No make ups but if you will be gone can take in advance. Notes are enough for studying and some homework that is easy.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. not only is he rude but he is extremely confusing and unhelpful. Most of his tests have nothing to do with what you read online or in your textbook.

This professor is very good. The textbook is not needed. All the material for the exams comes from in class powerpoints. He posts the powerpoints before class online, it is smart to print them out and bring them to class. He provides exam reviews for each test and it is the exact same information on the test. Only study the powerpoints!
