Talks at you for an hour. Has no general structure, often gets off topic. No visual aid. He bails himself out with movies, books, and TA's. He gives you macro detail, and expects you to recall micro facts. Easily my biggest mistake taking this class.

HORRIBLE prof! Doesn't tell you what he wants on tests, questions are very specific from a book of over 300 pages, actually signed his emails "Harold Hinds, Distinguished Professor of History. Doesn't lecture at all, resorts to movies in almost EVERY class period. I didn't learn a thing!

His lectures consist of him just standing there blathering at you for the entire class period - no visual aids. I wish we would have talked more about history of all the countries instead of focusing on corn and the industrial revolution. The TAs were too involved in the group projects.
