I'm currently taking History 103 so let me give you a rundown on what class is like. The professor takes 20 minutes to do attendance and there have been times she'd do it again. Also, she repeats many of the things she has already said. However, just make yourseld look like you did the work and you'd pass.

Comment:

Many of the topics would be repeated by the Professor. It would not be uncommon to come to class and learn the exact same thing word for word two days in a row. You can easily pass if you do light reading and pay mild attention. The one project she assigns is light work, and you will score high if you use many sources. Take to pass, not to learn.

Her class is awful. But if you pay attention in her class, you'll get a decent grade. Can barely hear her, nor can she hear you. Takes like 30 minutes to do attendance. babbles on things irrelevant. Gives one project which is based entirely on the number of sources you give. Tests are based on review the week before class. CHANGES TEST DATES OFTEN

I'm here to warn you to not take this class. She gives 1 project in which you have to present, not hard all you have to do is pretend you use a ton of sources and she'll think you worked hard on it. I never read the textbook because it wasn't useful until she gave us a review as to what would be on the midterm/final. This class was a waste of time.

it all depends on what your looking for. if you want an easy A. take her but make friends with someone who take REALLY good notes. If your looking to learn take another professor. The Midterm and final: A bunch of topics and you need to write one sentence about that topic. She dont like papers so you only need to write one and its only a 1 1/2 pgs

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!! she is sooo unclear and cant hear anything and makes you fall asleep. 3 boring trips!! shes very NICE but NOT a good teacher. she makes you read a ton but uses none of it. midterm and final is only what she talks about in class but you cant hear any of it.

Took 4 classes, I think. She is great-great! A+ in all. Attend classes (if you miss, speak to her about it), never miss a walking tour (unless you speak to her and you have a legit excuss (do not have baby sitter, can't call off work, etc). Also, please don't sit in the backrow and then at the end of the semester expect her to know who you are!

Worst Professor Ever! Did not teach anything relavant to the subject. If it didnt happen in NYC then she doesnt mention it and this is a HIS of U.S. class! We didnt discuss WWII!! Makes you go on redicilously boring and pointless field trips! If you value your sanity, do not taker her!

most pointless class ever, for her exams she expects you to only give her one answer which she wants and what she wants is the wrong definition. AVOID, if you want a D go for it, she is the most incompetent professor in queens college. she goes on like 4 mandatory trips which are scheduled in the worst times and expects you to make it! Harriet Davis-Kram avoid her at all cost queens college students, I have an A on everything in class and ended up with a D, so i have to ruin my christmas break in order to try and change the D, and the worst part im a history major! she really did a number on her students, she doesnt teach, makes students give a persentation every class..AVOID

She is a sweet old lady, but that doesn't mean she can teach. She is super vague as to what she wants, and will give an assignment then before it is due says "forget it" because she does not want to read too much (too bad we can't use that as an excuse to get out of reading). You don't learn anything in the class, just useless trivia.

Very nice and sweet and knowledgeable, but slow and forgets material for class all the time. No assignments, one paper, but trips. So if you don;t wanna do work then take her, but she can get annoying b/c she is unclear with her midterm and final and what she wants. She literally stands in front of class and tells stories....beware.

i would not recommend this professor. she speaks very softly, so on the off chance she says anything relating to the class, you can't even hear it over the sound of your pen writing. she also makes you go on field trips. and she draws her test questions from info in class that you might think is pointless, but she obviously doesn't.

She does a lot of field trips which is kinda exciting, but she speaks very low you can barely understand her, her reviews for exams suck, I got an A on the presentation, a C on the midterm and an A on the final but she gave me a B- for my final grade WTF! it makes no sense at all. I don't think I would recommend taking her.
