you will regret!!! worst teacher ever. I was a straight A student until I took this class and didn't get a B, but a C+. Take this class as distance learning. this guy is just plain rude, mean, and unfair. it doesn't matter how much nutrition you know or if u memorize the book, he will give you questions out of no where. avoid!!!!

Dr. Sitren was a very good lecture. I enjoyed listening to the lectures and never fell asleep. you use a "notes" book with the lecture in which he follows and just talks about each subject. I would go back to the book for clarity on cerain subjects. He doesn't use power point. The tests were fair and were more on the easy side. I got a B+

Okay, i got an A in this class but he is a HORRIBLE professor. I always made an effort to go to his office hours and he would tell me to leave! He was super unhelpful. Also, his tests were hard and confusing. His way of teaching is such a mess! you have to write super fast and he wont repeat things. watch out with this guy, take the easier professo

I HATED THIS CLASS! He's an o.k. guy but he seems to mumble and ramble aimlessly. The book's a total waste of money. Try to go to class and take notes, because that's the test.

This guy is good prof. but definitely not approachable...I would def say that the textbook is not must but it does help lot. I would not advise Einstein notes..to many error when i would review for the test. Smoking notes is a better choice. This teacher is articulate when it comes to what you know but be weary of the tests they fluctuate easy/hard

You don't need the book. All the test questions come straight from the notes but are not clear cut so pay attention in class. Einstein's notes definitely help. Attendance isn't too important but he does give a couple extra points on occasion. The project is pretty easy.

I DIDN'T open the book that I paid over $100.00 for ONCE. Save your money. just GO TO CLASS and take GOOD notes. Tests really come straight from notes. Also, very funny guy. Good personality. I think that may be why some people labeled him as "hot." Anyways, good class...pay attention and you'll be good.

Professor Sitren is a very knowledgable guy, but he tends to ramble aimlessly about stuff that is beyond the scope of the class. Its a very interesting class, but make sure you study for the exams. Einstein notes are useful to supplement your own notes when studying.

Enjoyable class but not easy. The first test=easy, then it gets harder. Learn in lecture and takes notes on everything. He does give a lot of information at once. You don't need book. You need Einstein notes. Go over your notes and Einstein notes. If you try you will get a B. Remember no test drops so try on all. The project is pretty easy

The class wasn't as interesting as I thought. The material on his tests were not clear cut in his lectures. I would definitely buy the notes outline study guide, it helps keep track of where he is lecturing. There is one project, the Diet Analysis, and if you follow directions, you should be able to get full credit for it.

The class seems easy at first, but the tests have material not found in lectures or text. He also has an unfair grading system. For each test you get an assigned point value based on a gpa scale (4=a 3.5=b+ ect) He doesn't give you an A unless you have a 3.8 average or above. This policy wasnt announced until after 2nd test

Very Hard. The material consists of things that most people have seen some time during their schooling. However, the tests are extremely hard. Don't bother with the book. His information is different from the text, and will confuse you if you have been reading the book. Definitely get the Einstein notes, or try to take a different professor.

Be careful taking this guy. He is NOT easy at all. Dont know why the other reviewer rated this guy a 5 for EASINESS (I personally reserve that for something truly EASY like Beginning Tennis or "How to make your bed". Exams are hard, detailed, and comes mainly from notes. Take the easier prof.

Take GOOD NOTES-- the exams come from them. You don't need the book. (Also, split the cost of Diet Analysis between friends and share it to save you some money.) Don't let the 2000 level of this course fool you; you will have to memorize your notes thoroughly to do well on the exams. Doing well on the diet analysis project will help your grade.

If you can take this class at SFCC. If not read the assigned reading and know it like the back of your hand. His test are application based. Not an easy A, you have to put in the work.

easy, just go to class and listen, exams have small curve but it doesn't really make that much difference, so don't count on a curve to make your grade

I don't know what other people are talking about, but its NOT easy. Even though he gives a slight curve on each test, it still takes a lot of work just to get a B. Study everything, get Einstein's notes, read the chapters thoroughly. Boring lectures. Kind of pompous and talks over you when you ask a question.
