This professor needs to be fired. She cannot teach nor has she published anything of note in the last decade. Tests and grading are far more difficult than necessary. Over ~60% flunk/drop rate. Tests cannot be adequately studied for, even with doing all the homework problems. Class is passable, but don't count on an A or B.

The class is hard, and she makes it impossible to pass! Don't take her class but it you have no choice you MUST go to class and try to understand her examples. Do ALL the book questions. She's horrible to talk to in person, and makes you feel stupid for asking questions.

You cannot study for this class. You cannot prepare for the tests. You cannot expect her to help you in office hours. You cannot expect to understand anything from lecture. This professor/class is quite literally the hardest, most frustrating class I have EVER taken. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT TAKE HER IF YOU CAN!

Her lectures are straight out of the book. She has no emotion whatsoever, does not know how to relate to students, and will have anyone sleeping/playing on iPod/leaving within 5 mins. of class starting. Tests and quizzes are impossible. If you have her, go to Mitchell or Gower instead. If you can't do that, DROP THE CLASS AND WORRY ABOUT IT LATER.

Her lectures are useless and the only helpful things are her example problems she does which still aren't great. Switch out if you can. All chem 2045 exams are the same but quizzes are different and hers SUCK. free response unlike the others. If you cant switch just go to a different lecture and make sure you get your butt to tutoring zone

This is by FAR the worst teacher i've ever had, and is the only class i've ever failed out of. She mumbles during her lectures, gives free response quizzes when all of the other teacher's are multiple choice, is extremely rude and unhelpful during office hours,and doesn't prepare you whatsoever for exams. Do not take her class!

She is the worst chemistry teacher at UF, you cannot understand her and her slides come right out of the book but she doesn't clarify. Take another teacher if you want to pass chem 1! She doesn't care for the students at all and we started with 600 kids in lecture and only 10 show up to class now (end of the middle of semester)

Absolutely awful. The quizzes are beyond unfair, and the exams are almost impossible. Her lectures are pointless, as she reads off a powerpoint that teaches us nothing. Do not take this class. I took AP chemistry, passed the exam, got all A's in the class, and have to drop this because pulling a C is almost impossible at this point.

this woman is so mean! she is the only professor who scheduled a quiz in the week of Thanksgiving. and because her quizzes are so tough you can't just drop it. every other professor, including those in other studies, canceled their classes. NOT helpful at all! GO TO ANOTHER TEACHER!!

A useless an unfriendly professor. Lectures are incomprehensible, and she doesn't want to help you learn the material at all. She just wants to draw her salary and will toss you out of her office hours the moment they are over. Avoid at all costs. I had to take her, and I regret it every day. No redeeming value.
