I took this online summer 2017 because I failed it spring 2016 with a diff. professor. I ended up getting an A in this class with Wessel. He answers emails right away, is easy to talk to, & very fair grader. there were chapter questions, we had a week to do the exams, and a couple papers to do. I'm awful at politics but he makes it understandable

Comment:

Harry is a good professor. Yes, his lectures are long and dense, and you will be there for the full hour and fifteen, but he does his best to make it exciting, and it usually is. You can get away with light note taking, just make sure to get the ID's and big concepts -- you can look up at the court cases outside of class, its easy.

Harry is a very good professor, &one of the smartest guys on campus! His lectures are long, how much you enjoy the class depends on how into politics you are. Majors & minors will love it, people taking it for a requirement will find it dull. Still, attendance isn't mandatory plus there's literally 1 small paper & 2 tests all term. Worth taking!

Great teacher, very engaging. Knows his stuff, and keeps the student involved in the class. Tests are all essay (Identifications, state the signifigance of.) I thought the tests were a bit difficult, but I would take him again in a heartbeat!

He does seem to be the only one who teaches Senior Sem, but he's a pretty good guy. He's more than willing to meet with you if you need help. If you go to class and put in the effort, you'll do well.

Worst teacher at Merrimack, hands down. I wish it was possible to avoid him for the rest of my college career, but it looks like he is the only professor who teaches senior seminar. Great.

Took him 3 times. Great guy. Once you figure out how to work his system you shouldn't get anything lower than an A. All work consists of two tests and a case study. The final is shortly longer than the midterm but contains 2/3 of the same material as the midterm. Grades kind of hard but is easily overcome by repetition of material.

great guy-southern accent, pretty boring but the "ID" midterm and test(which is your entire grade) can easily be memorized. The "ID"s are identifications of specific events/people. You will need to know a solid paragraph on about 7...As I mentioned, these can be easily memorized prior to test.

Horrible teacher. Doesn't care about students. Shows lack of interest for students work. Boring class, and it's way too long. Has a boring monitone voice that can make anyone sleep.
