Honestly, his lecture is boring and difficult. He always directly show you the formula without explaining how it is come. However,he will offer useful review questions before each exam. If you actually understood the review questions, you will do well.

Prof. is very smart and seems like a nice guy, but his class is kind of confusing. If i had to take the class again, I would still take him but be advised you have to do a lot of textbook reading to keep up. But his posts on blackboard are really helpful in studying for his really hard tests. He seems to really care how well his students do.

His class is hard, but if you put your whole mind into it and join a study group, you can get at least A- to B. But I must agree that he might not be the best pick if you want an easy grader.

I am reviewing his exam but I can not help to wate time to rate this professor. Please do yourself a favor and do not choose this professor, he will make your life miserable, his lecture is disorganized and the notes are incomprehensible. I've never make such weak comments on the other professors. He is knowledgeable, but do not know how to teach.

this guy knows alot about economics. He is a nice guy but the class itself is challenging. It is alot of math so you have to be good, overall he seems to be a decent teacher so I would take him again. He seems to treat people with respect and he expects the same.Just make sure you follow because the class is no walk in the park!!

Gram is the best Econ. professor in this school. He gives essay questions on exam which requires understand the theories, concepts and being able to master the dynamic. Once you can do that, you will be able to breeze through his exams. He is very fair and helpful. Take his econ225/226 class, you will learn good stuff that other profs cant teach.

first off, i dont know why someone gave him a pepper, this guy is at least 55+ years old. he gives make up tests(which usually become multiple choice) if a good amount of students do poorly on the midterms. explains things very clearly. the average grade for the midterms were about a C+/B- range. Take him if you major in econ

I wished he had chosen a textbook that covered the same material he covers, one with more math. Class gets confusing b/c of those graphs, he should have used powerpoint or colored chalk! Soft spoken, so class could get dry, nonetheless you must come to class. He does help if you ask for it. Posts own notes, but they too were just a bit confusing.

Gram is a very smart man and a good professor. He is not interpersonal with his students, that is he will not know your name, yet he will provide help and will always respond to your emails. In any case, you learn on your own but his lectures help to provide a better understanding on the material.

He cares about the progress his students. He's one of the better professors in the department. He's knowledgeable and approachable. Can be soft spoken at times. You have to come to class because he provides formulas that aren't in the book and the book wasn't really helpful either.
