Hello all whom are reading this review. If you are actually trying to learn something about Constitutional Law beyond memorization and regurgitation you need to take this man. This is the hardest class I have had in college so far and this is going to ruin my nice GPA but It was completely worth it because you LEARN. He's TOUGH, he's SMART.

His assesments are incredibly unfair, they are multiple choice test with multiple answers that could be correct for each. It is sort of a "which is more right" type thing with him, which can honestly cost a good, studying student points, simply based off their views/interpretation of the text. His lectures are maybe only 40% of the test contents.

Only 3 tests given that make up your final grade. Extra credit is an option if you fail a test but you will have to read a book and write a 5 page paper on it. I did the extra credit and still failed this course. It is not an easy course and it is super boring.

This class is by no means easy. You must read the book and take amazing notes in class. If you do all this you should be fine for the three multiple choice tests. I finished the class with an A and learned more about politics in one se,ester than I did my entire life. I will definitely take this professor again because he's tough but you learn.

I made the mistake of falling into the trap thinking he was a good prof. w his "B" reviews. Honestly, his reviews are simply outdated since he's been teaching far too long. He's a terrible professor, no doubt intelligent, but makes everything very unclear. Worth a "D" prof. Thought I could get solid grade after showing much effort, it wasn't enough

I don't know how this guy remains a professor. He's 30 years past his retiring date yet still remains teaching; he needs to get out of Rider and teaching immediately. I have no doubt they will let him go soon or he will leave because he just doesn't have it in him anymore to teach. do not take.

All the other recent reviews are right: save yourselves and get this guy out of business pronto. Those who do not read these reviews are in a heaping World of hurt. Even if you like politics, government, or law, he does not make it interesting, is unclear, and repeats himself ALL semester long. You are so much better off with another professor!

Please do yourself a favor and do not take this professor. He is at the end of his term. He simply does not care about his students. There are no inbetween grades, A and F is what he will give you and C if you're lucky. Anything that you study for the test will be worded differently ON the test and confuse you greatly. Save yourself the headache.

Beware readers: if you read any reviews from 2014 & past, they are outdated. Take it from someone who took this class in 2015, AVOID THIS PROFESSOR AT ALL COSTS. He has no problem failing people. 3 exams, & that is your grade. No extra credit, no hw, no attendance. This is an old man who needs to retire and has little patience anymore for students.

All I can say is no. no no no no. You will physically die. I am a straight A Biology major and love politics. He once asked a question where to options were.. a) Seperation of powers b) Checks and balances. What the heck is the difference? Now times that by 50 and that is your test. You will have 3 tests. And fail them all. "W" on transcript.

Long lectures and not very clear. Sit in the front of the room because he doesn't talk very loud. Only 3 tests all year, so you need to do well. Understands what he's talking about but doesn't make sense. Very boring. Need to attend SI sessions for tests. Does not follow the textbook so you need to pay attention.

I love Dr. Kornberg. He's such a smart guy. The class consisted of only 3 tests all multiple choice. Make sure you take notes! I got by without reading. Most of the things on the tests came from lectures. DON'T COME TO CLASS LATE. he's super liberal but I love it.

Do not take this class. It was extremely hard for a level 100 class. He is a nice guy but lectures are confusing and he gives no extra credit. He is not very helpful either..when students would ask a question, he would respond with a snide answer as if to make you feel stupid for asking in the first place. Stay away!!

Decent professor, but his lectures don't help at all you might as well read and do your best to comprehend the textbook during some of his rants unless hes writing on the board or hes saying something meaningful. I have the supplemental and Democracy in the United states textbook by dahl if anyone wants em cheap. 60 bucks for both call 6096101808

I had Dr. Kornberg for 6 courses and will never forget any of them. He is brilliant, hard but fair, and will push you to THINK beyond the basic college freshman, soph, junior or senior year. I LOVED having hinm as an instuctor. I leared SO much from him about more than just politics or international law - we learned about life as well.

Dr. Kornberg isn't going to give you an easy A but if you show up and take notes you will earn/get the grade you're after. Brilliant professor(check his resume) with funny lectures. Best option if you want to understand constitutional law as a US citizen.
