Dr. Head is both my advisor and the best professor I've ever had. He devotes all of his energies and attentions to the class, and you can tell that this is what he loves and where he is meant to be. His classes teach you more HOW to learn than WHAT to learn, and I think I learned more in one semester under his teaching than I ever have before.

I loved Dr. Heads class he kept it entertaining and loves dissuasion and input, He's not to harsh in criticizing because he has a good since of when your actually trying, and I know that when i was able to get a complement from him it made my day. He is very insightful and fun i recommend taking any of his classes.

One of the most profoundly impactful men in my collegiate career. If all of the professors I had were full of such gusto and eagerness for thoughtful and meaningful education I would be a much better man. As it is, his teaching was an inspiration to me and will continue to be to other students.

He's the finest prof here, in my opinion. Very scholarly, but you can tell from his kindness that he grew up not far from here. It's also very evident that he loves language; his grin tells you that. You'll work hard, because his individual attention and praise is so gratifying. He'll take you seriously, like a colleague. He's terrific.

Dr. Head is the hippest of all the professors I've seen. Not hip in the "groovy" way, but in his scholarship and style. You just WANT to learn from this man and you can tell he really wants you to gain a lot from the class. Thanks, Dr. Head!

I had Comp. II with Dr. Head. He is my favorite professor at CofO. He is one of the smartest, nicest men I have ever met. He's so good at facilitating classes and discussion, and he's very insightful. He's clear and is one of the most helpful professors I've ever had. I also consider him a good friend.
