Heather is very strict. Her class is very fast paced with a big workload. She gives several assignments each class but rarely gives us time to work in class, and makes us watch her do several steps and rarely stops to make sure everyone understands. She is often rude and condescending when you ask for help. She sends passive aggressive emails often

Heather gives you clear instructions as to what to do, but doesn't teach much actual design for the class. She goes against what others teach, and the class is exceedingly easy. As an upper level class you would expect a harder curriculum, but in reality her class is one of the easiest in the entire major.

The curriculum for the Tech Workshop class needs to be updated, and Heather needs to go through some training to learn CURRENT techniques and terminology. Her class was below basic, she not only taught very little, she also taught things that are useless and should not be used if you want to be considered a real GD. Nice person, very antiquated.

BEST PROFESSOR AT KEENE! Heather is a realistic teacher, who is extremely helpful. She pushes you to work hard, and the end result is worth spending hours and hours in the maclab doing projects. My portfolio has developed so much farther after taking her class! : )

heather is an amazing professor but demands a lot out of her students, and the whole time you're doing it you're cursing her b/c she gives you so little time but then your end result comes out pretty good and you feel generally satisfied. electronic imaging is definately a work-intensive class, so be ready for it!

Lots of work in this class. Do not procrastinate. Projects are cool but there is so much work and outside classwork expected. Very funny and very knowledgeable about the programs.

She is funny, nice and relates to the kids in her classes. She is very helpful and down to earth! Electronic Imaging, the class she teaches, has an enormous amount of work involved. Would not recommend taking it with another time consuming course.
