Heidi is really funny and sarcastic. Shes chill during lectures and does well at keeping them interesting. The class was easy and gave me my 6,000 words and my international credit.

Great class! Took it for international credit, and was totally worth it. A great, laid-back professor. Class not mandatory, but extra credit for final if you contribute to discussion. I had 50 extra points by the end of the semester (some had more points). Lectures are not dense. Mid term and final online. For map quiz, study capitals.

Heidi is a great teacher. I don't know anything about geography but she still made the class fun and easy to understand. I learned a lot during this course. Just show up, take a few notes, and you will do fine. Videos in class were informative and not boring. Only criticism is that we could've had better review sessions for the exams.

This was the first online and 1000 level class I have ever sweated. A majority of the class was on agreement that her exams were extremely difficult for the material covered and exceeded what was expected for a 1000 level course. I would not take a course with her again.

I am an engineering major and this class was the best elective. Professor was so creative with teaching. We got to make a Flooding game in the class. It sounded easy, but I learned a lot.

This was my first online class and I loved the professor. I went to her office hours and she was friendly, and actually there! The class was super-organized and she graded quickly. I would recommend this professor

So, I took this course expecting a GPA booster as it is a 1000 level course. Did not pan out that way, her quizzes and exams are so much harder than they need to be. This class requires you to read a lot and watch lectures, but there are only a few random questions on quizzes/exams. Not enough time to complete quizzes/exams.

She did not communicate her expectations of the class well. The quizzes and midterm were a lot harder than she led on. Also, some of the things we were tested on, were not taught. The midterm covered seven chapters, no study guide. It was online and timed. I felt like I was rushing through it. Also, the final, 11 chapters and no study guide.

Excellent teacher, very intelligent. Relatively easy class if you do what you're told and stay on top of things. Took this class as a GPA booster and got a B. Heidi is a character in and of herself, I highly reccommend taking at least one of her classes!
