Comment:
She peddled catholic social thought shamelessly. She bragged about her trips, speaking engagements and using her kids to protest abortion. Not sensitive or respectful to students despite coming across as sugary-sweet.

Despite what the comments of the reviewer below, I felt she gave a fairly balanced perspective of the law in both classes- for example, in family law, she DID cover cases regarding same sex couples, addressing both sides' perspectives in adoption, legalization of mariage, and division of assets.

Comment:
Echoing the statment of student from last year. Professor spends inordinate amount of time going over insignifant details, while not really giving a clear picture of what the rule to be derived from each case. Also, her guidance of what was going to be on the exam and what was actually on the exam was very misleading. Steer clear if at all possible

She skips the pages that mention the words "gay" "homosexual" or "EQUALITY" because it just doesn't jive with the Pope, the Church, or what she believes. Or maybe her pages just were stuck together. I like her though!

She tells you that something is not covered on the exam and not to study it when in reality she will have it on the exam. She is not helpful in exam preparation. Her class discussion are wrought with ridiculous details without getting at the main issue. She spends little time on topics that she expects in-depth analysis on the exam.
