I was a student of Prof. Wensjoe in 2001-2003. He made you work hard and you learned. He was a life force and to quote him "a dangerous proposition." He was a great man with a great deal of compassion for his students, especially this one.

I am now a professor and I credit Dr. Wensjoe's unwaivering support for my success. As a graduate student, he demanded excellence and expected the best of you. He consistently called you out if you slacked and always had faith you could succeed. I now use him as a model for my teaching. We are all devestated by this loss. God bless him.

Wensjoe was by far the most cantankerous professor that I ever knew, but he was also the best. He was my advisor and confidant. We argued about policy, society and economics repeatedly but it was all in good fun. With boundless love and respect in my heart for you I humbly wish God speed to you and your son. Graduated from UST in 06, Wensjoe is by far one of the best instructors there. He will prepare you; IPE might be one of the toughest classes but you will love it. He is tough, but its that good Peruvian tough.

Best professor in my undegrad at UST. Very demanding and extremely helpful. Must come prepared to class. Friendly and knowledgeable, use his office hours, he gives great advice on school, classes, and life in general. Highly recommended!

Good Professor, interacts with the class quite often instead of just lecturing. Some knowledge of spanish is helpful as most of the students in the class are from Latin America and he often goes on jaunts speaking only in spanish. Very knowledgeable.
