Helen Lojek was (and still is, I'm sure) a great professor in the English Department at BSU back in the day. She is brilliant in her field, is concerned about her students, and is a genuinely considerate person. By the way, the idea of rating professors on a web page such as this is about as inane of the concept as "90 days free as cash." Good grief.

Helen is a great educator and a wonderful person. As an upper-division teacher I think that she is wonderful, very insightful, thoughful and intelligent. But I can see how she'd be a difficult instructor for 100-level classes. She demands a lot of work and time on your part

I learned so much from her and really enjoyed her class. She really went above and beyond the call of duty. I would highly recommend her class if you want to learn a lot, but not if you want an easy A. I got an A but it wasn't easy at all.
