i was her student many years ago & she was an absolute awesome teacher. she cared for her students, i for one can vouch for that. had a high B on her class she phoned me to ask if i would retake the final exam to get an A. me dummy i declined. i still regret blowing that opportunity til this day

I took this class during the summer through flexible learning. It was abo****ely terrible. She doesn't help with any questions and you have to teach yourself from the book. I highly recoommend a different teacher and DEFINITELY NOT flexible learning

Oh my god do not do NOT take this teacher!!! She is extremely picky and very hard grader,u know what, she will take off points like if u write 88.8 and she wanted to round to 90.0 she will take off points, i think she just thinks she is the best at math so no one should get a good grade, i think she just mocks people if they don't know math

It wasnt as bad as everyone tries to tell you. the proficiency test is the worst part, but if you pass it you're fine. she was really helpful and the way she teaches is great. if you have trouble do the homework and get help. i didnt really do homework, but i understood the material in class.

This is a difficult class, it will take almost all of your time. Professor is good and very helpful, she knows the subject matter well, and she explains it well. i highly recommend her, although she is a tough grader. Profeciency test is not her requirement that's the departments ridiculous demand, but if you study the given packet, u will pass.

This class is a lot more difficult than you'd think. It is rediculous that you have to pass a proficiency test or else you are dropped. This teacher is very snotty and does not accept certain questions if she doesnt understand them. She teaches her own way and doesnt care what you think. I got a 78 the last time on the proficiency test and got a W!

Worst teacher I have ever had. Completely useless and lazy. I asked for help and she didn't know how to do it/ didn't want to help me. I am an honor's student, and I am taking this course through COD during the summer. Don't take her class if possible, you WILL regret it.

STATS should not be assumed to be an easy course. This is a challenging class that requires alot of work. Test objectives are given. Must due hw everyday to solidify the material in your head. Overall, Zaleski is genuine/good teacher,however, she is a harsh grader.Office hrs not the best. Very helpfl with computer prgrm. Projects help 4 tests.

Instructor Zaleski is a tough teacher. She does provide you with test objectives before an exam, but the tests are kind of long for the period. Very picky about grading. If you have questions/need help, she will answer them! She does expect you to bring your textbook to class everyday. She is fairly strict, but overall a good teacher.

NEVER TAKE THIS TEACHER FOR STATS! She was so horrible when it came to her lectures. I would sit and class and when I raised my hand she would roll her eyes because I would ask her a question while she was explainging the lecture. She also marked me absent when I was 5 minutes late! I wouldn't recommend her at all!

Take her via Independent Learning. Hands down the best instructor in math. I asked 3 instructors in the CIL a problem question and she offered me the easiest solution to understanding. TAKE CIL! 2-3 retakes a semester on exams and get an Incomplete for completing half the course and finish midterm following semester. HELEN IS AWESOME! VERY HELPFUL!

Extremely difficult class! Dr. Zaleski might be an excellent mathematician, but is a poor teacher. She ran through the material extremely fast, not allowing students to question, practice, or copy the material from the board. It was disheartening to see a teacher be so cold and indifferent to her pupils.

She had quizes that were typically scheduled a week in advance and could not be made up. She basically covered Quiz and Test questions and allowed students to ask specific problems to go over before them. The worst part of this class is some of the students put forth no effort and cause the class to drag on occasion.

If you are taking this class because you have to, get out now!!! If your a math major looking for an extreme challenge, knock your self out. 3 hrs of homework, extremely hard tests, over half of the class dropped. Some kids got As but they were few!
