Smart easy going guy. But the class attracts those students who could care less. So for 2 hours you want to put your head through a wall from the amount of stupid comments. Not to mention the TA just talks about her family for an hour. Avoid it unless you can sit through it.

Prof Biller is more than willing to give you tons of ideas for placement in this class! Don't worry about getting everything done in time, as long as you are working hard, and doing your best and participating, Dr. Biller will make sure he supports your field experience placement and the time it takes to finish!

Dr. Biller is a tender hearted Professor who goes above and beyond to help his students. He's one of few that care about his class. Be prepared to read!! It's worth it!

Other students complaining about structure, need to make sure they're taking the right course--Biller teaches a lot of seminars. Seminars are not structured, and tend to be self taught, i.e., lots of reading, analyses, papers, and discussions. He's a Brown and Duke grad--and he teaches as such--actually better. Have Respect for brilliance.

I don't know how much "structure" expect out of a class where no one attends and the class is based on 60 hours of outside work in a placement. If you find a place (which is very easy) to intern at you enjoy, chances are you will learn a ton and it can change your life. Learn a lot through self-readings, he is very kind and helpful.

His classes should only be taken by those who do not want to learn anything. He puts NO EFFORT into teaching. Big waste of money. Yes, he gives easy As, but this isn't what a college class should be.

I won't argue that Biller is a really nice guy, because he is. However, he literally has no structure to the class. No quizzes, tests, projects, nothing. Just a 30 page paper that's due at the end of the semester after reading 5 books on your own. He shows up with no lecture planned, and just starts talking about his family. I dropped the class.

Dr. Biller tries to be fair to the students. He will listen to you and he will help you, IF YOU ACTUALLY ASK FOR HELP AND SHOW UP TO THE CLASSES. He is not for those who like "structured" classes, but it is NOT impossible to get an A in his class, at all. He will also modify an assignment, if the class deems it unfair. Not many Profs. do that.

Basically Hen is the most amazing person I know. He is a more handsome version of Richard Simmons. He loves gym shorts and Del's lemonade and he is always there to help. In general he is a kind soul who really knows what he's talking about.

I very much enjoyed his 1972 running shorts and dank beaters in 37 degree weather! haha. This guy means well, it's a tough class to teach bc it's mostly getting your hours done @ the internship. The 2 books he wrote that he suggests are probably the most offensive books i've ever read (lots of strong, **** statements) thats my only complaint.
