Professor Talarico was an awesome instructor, she wants her students to succeed and it shows. Make sure you record everything that comes out her mouth that she states will possibly be a test question, read, and show up for class and you will succeed.

I took a Sociology class in high school and loved it. Professor Talarico made this class an easy transition from high school and I loved it. We used the book as reference and some reading. While her lectures jumped a bit, she supplemented the lectures with overhead notes. Overall, an excellent teacher!

A wonderful woman! She goes through everything that will be on the test the day before you take it. You're allowed one sheet of notes! She can be a little frazzled at times. Shows a lot of movies. I enjoyed her class, she's very understanding!

I never thought that I would enjoy sociology but Prof. T makes you enjoy every minute of it and she is very encouraging even if you are doing well she wants you to do better. She is our mom from Boston. I love the class and she is a mor than terrific teacher.

I took Mrs.Talarico's class in Clio about a year and a half ago. She is a wonderful teacher and knows how to connect with her students! She tries to make sure that everyone is following along and understanding everything thoroughly! All around excellent teacher!

she is hard to follow... even though she goes over the chapters in class and gives overhead notes - it does not seem to be what the tests are on... so it makes it hard to pass the tests - I am not the only one with this problem

Worst teacher I've ever had. Always late, even on test days which takes away from your time. Her notes do not make sense; she's unfocused (jumps from one subject to another) and your left to learn the material on your own.

She was an ok teacher. She's very disorganized and does come late. You get to use a whole sheet of notes on all the tests, front and back, typed. On the last test, it was open book, plus whatever notes you wanted. It really wasn't a hard class at all. I took sociology in high school and I dont' think I learned anything new in her class.

Very cool teacher. I can say that I did learn a lot. You can't expect a teacher to force feed the information to you. You do have to put a little extra time into the course by way of reading from the book. Plus her gnarley Boston accent was a course bonus.

She is nice but very unorganized. I dont think she planned a single lecture. Your best bet is to make a friend in another class. She lets you use notes on test. She tells some classes more than others so if you know someone in another class get their notes and study your own and hers. If you do that you are definatly going to get an 4.0

This lady is a bit of a joke. Nice, I suppose, but you dont learn much. It feels like they stuck a student with a teachers edition at let them try teach the class. My favorite phrase of hers is, "we could say more, but we wont."

She is VERY unorganized. She was 5-10 minutes late for class everyday. She let us use notes on the test which was nice, but i wasn't impressed with her at all. I've had some awesome teachers and she would be a the bottom of the list. The clas wasn't hard, she was just so unorganized, she drove me crazy!!!

No offense to the previous commenters, but i am NOT a fan of her. Sure, its easy. Sure, she lets you use notes... but i dont feel like i really learn anything from her. She arrives to class 5 minutes late each day... she reads to herself. Everyday is basically take notes, leave. She hardly answers our questions well. She's unorganized. I want to persue this study but i don't feel like this class is really helping me. If you want a class that you can just pass, take her. If your interested in learning, Dont!
