I really enjoyed learning from him, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE person and is easy to listen to. He uses humor here and there in his lectures, but he will only give you an overview of the ideas, you HAVE TO use the text book to learn about the concepts in more detail.

Comment:

Not easy if you can't teach yourself. The tests are pretty hard but if you take the practice tests a few times its not too terrible. The modules don't really help you on the tests but really help boost your grade. I didn't use the textbook and made a B+.

The lowest grade you can pass with is a 50. The 4 tests are hard and worth 15% each, but the practice tests online will help you BIG if you do them. The modules/quizzes are worth 7.5 each, which basically equals an extra test grade. The final is cumulative and worth 25%. DO NOT take this class if you can't teach yourself respectably from a book.

The course is really easy; everything is online. Module are boring but do teach you something if you pay attention to them. You'll want the book for a deeper explanation of the subjects convered. Also, test are multiple choice and while he says it comes from a bank of 4000, alot of questions from the quizes/ pratice test show up on the test.

Anything over an 80 is an A so he's very fair with the grading. I found the class to be very easy but I actually reviewed the book before the tests. I found that if I took the practice test 3 or 4 times and reviewed the questions that I missed in the modules and the book then I aced every test.

You have to basically teach yourself since this is an online class. An 80< is an A. You can take practice tests and quizzes. Overall, this professor is fair and has a review day every week. He also posts review sessions online along with homework and quizzes. Tests have to be taken in a computer lab.

I had no interest in econ or math taking this. Everything is online yet he makes sure you stay on top of it with weekly quizzes and modules. The lecture modules are not very helpful but if you do them all you get 10% extra credit, which DEFINITELY HELPED. I basically taught myself by studying the textbook and taking practice tests, got an A.

This class is online, completelty self taught..while you have to watch the lecture modules, they dont help at all on the test. For the tests, the best thing to do is take the practice tests a million times until youve had a ton of questions, which will come up on the actual exam...dont take him if you need help/clarity because hes useless

DO NOT take this professor, especially if it is online. I studied at a minimum 12 hours for exams and never made higher than a low B, got a C, D, and F on the other three. The modules are boring, quizzes every week, and 4 tests and a final. He is VERY knowledgable, but expects you to just get it like he does.

Would not recommend this class. His modules are boring and while they teach you basic concepts, you really have to end up teaching yourself from the book in order to do well. If this was a class with an actual classroom it would be better, but because it is all online it makes it much worse. Stay away from this class.

Seriously a terrible class. His modules basically teach you the elementary version of what is going to be on the exam. The exams are online but you have to go to a classroom to take them. Test bank has thousands of questions could get an easy exam or an impossible one. even exams weeks there are modules and quizzes due, dont take online version

I took the online version of this class. Not an easy A but not impossible. YOU HAVE to watch all the lecture modules & take notes on him. Also go to his office hrs for help. A lot of people struggled with this class, but if ur willing to put in the effort you will do fine. I got an A & am horrible in math and have never taken an econ class before
