I really enjoyed Dr. Chen's teaching style. He gives a little background about each device and how it operates before working through multiple examples. Gives HW problems for each chapter but doesn't grade them. His tests are very similar to HW & problems covered in lecture. No surprises on test and a fair grader, I would definitely take him again.

Professor Chen is sometimes hard to understand, but he always gets his point across. The first few weeks may be a little rough to adjust to the new learning style, but as long as you attend class and know basic algebra you will be fine. It's a great freshman introductory course.

excellent professor!!in his class , no need to copy problems on the whiteboard,just listening and going through his problems in the class.Do yourself with the problems which he gave to you.Practices these problems by yourself are very helpful for understanding. His teaching method is wonderful!!

one of my most favorite professors in the EE dept. For all those that say he's awful, you probably just aren't meant for engineering or something because this prof literally spoon-feeds you information you need; enough to allow you to complete all the labs easily etc plus xtra THINKING required of course :P To programmers: this class is cake. :D

I learned so much in this IC Design class. He's become one of my most favorite EE professors. The TA he hired also was excellent. I enjoyed it alot. If you study there won't be a problem. He's pretty clear in his explanations during lecture. I highly reccommend this professor. :)

Really nice guy who cares about his students and wants them to do well. The problem is that he can be so unclear at times that you will be completely lost during the lecture. English is obviously not his first language, so he has a hard time understanding students questions. Tests were fair though, and i actually did learn alot in this class.
