Fun prof. Hes nice and is like a dad. Not the best lecturer, he would mess up problems a lot inclass. Youtube will be your best friend. Quiz and Test problems are from the Homework. Some Test problems were over topics he barely covered and did a bad job at explaining. Overall nice guy but not the best professor. If your not EE than take him.

Dr. Garber is a fantastic professor that gets very off topic. EE2010 was certainly not his best course that he taught. However, he is very helpful one-on-one if you need help or an explanation on something from class.

Do NOT take this class with him, and if you do, don't complain about anything. I should have received a B, instead got a C. Incomprehensible teaching style, becomes horribly confused while writing examples on the board, often not in his office during office hours, and makes fun of students who are not engineering majors/grad students.

Really had no idea what he was talking about. Told students he can't solve problems he assigned for homework. Joked a lot to cover up the awkwardness that he didn't know how to solve text examples. Maybe he's easy for freshman classes, but he's not qualified for anything beyond EE100 level.

One of the Best Teachers at Wright State, I was not an EE major and he had me seriously contemplate switching. Also, I got to Know him outside the classroom and would have to say he is very down to earth and cares about not only his students but all the students at WSU. Great Guy.

Very Enjoyable Class, highly recommend 140, its actually a class to be enjoyed, he teaches well and gets makes the subjects interesting by giving real life examples. Very helpful if you have a problem or simply want to talk about a subject.

WOW. All the previous comments are so untrue. Garber does not care about his students at all. He is very unorganized,unable to teach any subject. Worst thing is that he can never finish a complete thought. Worst EE professor, actually the worst professor I have ever had at Wright State.

He's a great teacher all around. He goes into good detail, and if you don't understand something he will meet with you after class. When you meet with him he will actually try to get to know you rather then just answer your questions. His tests are fair, and best of all he cracks jokes!

I love this guy! He really does a good job of having students WANT to continue EE, which is especially useful when EE students are already bogged down and depressed by the Physics and Calc classes... He's very knowledgeable and helpful. The labs are fun, and, as long as you show up and put some effort into it, you'll probably get an A.

Excellent class. We didn't learn a whole lot of book material, but what we did learn was more useful. Practical stuff about how stuff works. It was really fun, best class I've taken all year. Piece of cake too... as long as you show up, you'll get an A.
