Nice guy but LONGGGG Lectures. Also, I failed his class because I was so confused. He loses you a lot in his lectures and very lengthy. Definitely best to study on your own or using the learning center every day!

This class frustrated me. I nearly failed all 3 tests and did mediocre on Mastering. I was so worried I was going to fail. His lectures are interesting and informative but LONG. I never knew what to study. He gave extra credit for 10 points onto your final grade at the end of the semester which I think saved me.

His tests are extremely hard, but it's hard to find out how you're doing in the class. His lectures can sometimes be really boring. If you want to make sure you're doing well, I would suggest periodically meeting with him because otherwise, you won't find out until the end. Also, make sure he knows you handed in all your work.

He is very intelligent and comes prepared for his class. But, his lectures were so boring that used to fall as sleep after half an hour. His tests were very hard that no matter how hard I studied, I was not able to get more than 85 on any of my exams. But he is not a tough grader. You can still get an A+ if you do mastering and extra credit.

I did enjoy Knizeski as a teacher. He is very smart and it shows during his lectures. He took his time explaining things and never righted lectures. I really did learn a lot from him. The problem is he doesn't cover everything fully so reading the text will help. I wonder where he got the tests from, lecture and exams don't always match up.

Tests are tough. DO THE MASTERINGAS YOU GO because thats where a lot of the questions are derived from. Lecture Heavyy! Good guy and obiously knows what hes talking about, and hes more than willing to answer any questions that you have because he wants you to do well. **I rate every teacher I have, so none of my comments are one way or the other

Incredibly knowledgeable about materials, and is really good at explaining topics. Gives really long lectures and sometimes holds class over answering questions. Tests are decently hard, but he's really lenient grading and wants students to succeed. Would take again.

Professor K is intelligent. There are 3 exams, mastering is 25% its basically another exam so it's easy. His exams are very confusing. Anyways, he's very generous with grading so if you are failing you will pass as long as you do mastering and the extra credit. His lectures are super long and lectures on subjects that won't be on the exam.

His lecture was really long and boring. All he does is stand up and talk the entire class. His tests were really tricky and he assigns Mastering, but it's not due until the end of the semester which gives you a lot of time. Even though his tests were hard he's VERY generous with grading.

This professor is a genius, I wish I can be as smart as him. I don't hunk he should be teaching general bio, however, he is very generous with grading. His test are tough, he gives 3 exams. Mastering is basically 25% of your grade so make sure you do good. his exams are confusing because it's barley from the notes, books or mastering. He's not bad

Dr. K explains the material better than the text book. I recorded the lectures & recognized some of his examples on the exam. The text book& mastering are also needed to pass. Dr.K is available during office hours for extra help too. Bio 160 is a filter class & it is really difficult to pass but Dr. K IS A VERY FAIR GRADER ::)

If you take him it's basically a gamble. He seems to know the material and I was able to grasp most of it but his tests are SO HARD. He words it so tricky that he makes you feel like you didn't study even if you did. He always gives mastering which is not due until the very last day of the semester. I'll be luck if I can get a C/C+ for this class

good professor. I took bio 160 in the sunmer and honestly worst decision of my life. Anyways, he is a very fair professor. Exams are 25% and there are 3 and mastering is 25%. Make sure you read and look over his notes and mastering. He grades fairly so don't give up if you recieved a low grade in one exam. Lectures and long but interesting

SOOO BORINGGGGG!! you will sleep in his class. so not interesting at all. he doesn't try to connect with the students. all he does his tell us is knowledge on bio. doesn't give us anything to reference to or study on other than the text. so you have to teach yourself everything.

I feel that he was very fair and really tried to help students better understand the material. The fact that there was an internet source available to the class made it much easier to evaluate the material and be able to test ourselves. Overall, very good class, and I do recommend him to students who are looking to really understand the material.
