Bad teacher, you learn from Connect assignments, videos, and your textbook. All he does is go over his slides, way too quickly, which is near impossible to understand. Accounting is difficult in general but he's not very helpful, get a group of people to study with and take notes on the connect videos, they help A LOT. Quiz once a week, tests easy

Reeves is a good guy and know accounting but he doesn't know how to teach it. His lectures involve him just reading off slide with very few time where he actually applies what he's talking about. His tests aren't super hard, but many of the questions are worded weird and difficult to understand. Overall, you'll have to teach yourself a alot!

This class was AWFUL! I was an accounting major until this class, now I have completely switched out of the business school. You will have to teach yourself everything because all he does in class is read you the PowerPoint that he has on Canvas, so it's pointless to go to class, but you have to go to class because of mandatory attendance.

Least favorite course of the semester. I enjoyed 241 for the most part and hated this class. So poorly taught that you're left to try to use connect and the textbook to figure out large portions of tedious work. Tests are difficult to prepare for

DO NOT TAKE PROFESSOR REEVES. I've asked for help, I've done my work, he still makes the class difficult. This class is a lot more interesting that financial accounting; but, all he does it click through the slides. He thinks he's engaging you within the discussion, but it's not an adequate way to learn. NEVER AGAIN. SOS.

Reeves knows a lot but isn't the best professor. He reads off of slides which makes the lectures seem long, and he is not always clear about expectations. The tests are straightforward though and he is willing to help if you ask.

He only reads off the powerpoint, and gets angry if you ask questions. There is a huge gap between the homework and the tests and wonders why the class isn't doing well. If you haven't taken Managerial Accounting before, don't take him, you will feel lost and he won't help.

Very nice guy, but he is way too old to be teaching at this point. he doesn't know how to answer questions and all he does is flip through slides the entiree class. doesn't work out problems and it's hard to learn anything from him. class is extremelyyy boring.

Dont take him. Nice guy, but not a good teacher at all. Seems as he is learning the material right along with you. If you ask him a question he will have to search in the book for the answer... I got a low B in the class and accounting is one of my best subjects. Avoid taking him if you can.

SUCH A HARD CLASS! Prof. Reeves is a nice man who kind of expects you to follow things on your own. Go to him during office hours/call his house and he'll be SOOO helpful. But not really good at teaching. Seems to get confused himself at times. Nice man, but can't teach.

He's a very nice man. I had him at 8 am though, and he was NOT exciting. It feels like he is talking to himself some of the time when he teaches. If you are prepared to work, then I say take him I'm not doing very well in this class, but i slack. He does want to help though.

Prof Reeves is an awesome teacher, very nice, VERY helpful. Tests are difficult but if you study you will do fine. Curved first test. Quizzes every week are keeping my grade afloat. Don't fall behind on homework and reading or else you will fail.
