He is a low-IQ and poorly educated piece of trash, teaching at one of the lowest-ranked world universities. Not smart enough for STEM, he is a professor in communications, which makes him an academic joke.

I love him. He is so wonderful. I would take any class with him anywhere on the planet. He is wise. He is thoughtful. He is kind. He is more than I could have ever hoped for in a professor. The sage on the stage, plus he is like a rock star to boot. Truly, truly amazing.

I found the class a bit difficult, a bit out of my area of "expertise" but I learnt a lot. He shared really interesting information though I found the subject a bit dry. Great prof overall, I would take another class with him at any point.

Dr. Pimlott is one of the most interesting, challenging, and overall amazing prof I've ever had. He's also really funny! His class is challenging, though, so only sign up if you're ready and willing to work. Don't dare go on Facebook or social media while in his class. He'll call you on it if you do. Love this guy. He's also super hot :)

By far the most intriguing prof i've ever had at laurier... he has this amazing ability to know every student by name by the first class and notices when you skip or talk in class and isn't afraid of calling you out. While he is a tough marker with high standards, he is really fascinating and passionate about communications, I enjoyed the class.

He was a very hard marker and I received the lowest marks I ever have throughout university in his class. You have to attend class and participate in order to get a good mark and if you don't he WILL notice. You also have to make sure you spend a lot time on small and big assignments to get an average grade.

One of the most supportive, interesting, and well-prepared profs I've ever had. Although he's demanding, he's also fair and you learn a lot! He sets the bar high and because of that you finish his course a better writer, researcher, and student. Wish all of my profs could be as great!

Incredibly demanding prof- so many assignments worth small percentages and he does not hand out good marks. I was always discouraged with my grades but I will say he is organized and this course was useful- I actually learned vs. just cramming.

He has a kind heart. I went through a really rough time that I happened to mention while clarifying an assignment guideline. He was sincere in his sympathy for me, and he wrote such kind words on my final assignment. He often stops me in the hall to ask how I am. Thanks Pim!

he is the worst professor i have ever had!!!! i had him for CS101 i would highly recommend switching out of his class. he talks about random things that are not in the text book and rambles on for 3 hrs and by the end not only have you lost 3 hours of your life you have no idea what he was talking about. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASSES!!!

Very interesting class, and he uses a variety of media in each lecture which is nice since the lecture was quite long. He can be arrogant, but I think he really cares about the students, staff and school. VERY hard midterm and final, so study a lot.
