Very knowledgable about his field. Be prepared to spend time on taking lots of photos outside of class for projects, sometimes in a very short time span. Gives good feedback on how to improve photography skills. Having your own DSLR camera, or one you can use for assignments, is required.

He was my advisor and I had him for 10+ classes: ridiculously busy guy, but always there when needed for anyone. Friendly, helpful. His method was learning for yourself. Great for some, but sometimes I wished for more lectures. A fantastic prof with real world experience. Any problems were later fixed by hiring another prof to help share the load.

I find him to be very sympathetic and helpful. He went above and beyond what a professor needs to do. He helped me outside of class hours in spite of his extremely busy schedule. He is very patient, and took the time to explain and assist me with technical questions, and even expressed a desire to travel to my native country and help teach there.

Smart guy but way too arrogant and self-centered. Not really concerned with the students welfare at all seemingly, but maybe that is just his personality and not purposeful.
