Very nice man, lectures were mostly boring though. This class is almost impossible to ace but was a very good learning experience if you want to expose yourself to the ideas of other religions.

Decent teacher. Have to agree--he's not clear on what an "A" paper is. 3-page essay every weekend (at least during Winter term), and tests are mostly essay as well. That said, he's not too tough a grader. I feel like I did learn a lot, and I think I'd do it again if I had the choice.

He was a very nice guy, but grading wasnt clear at all. He never told us what an "A" paper was, therefore we didnt know what to expect. Dont have to read the book, just listen in class b/c it is straight from the lectures. He's an alright teacher, but definitely not my favorite @ Furman.

This is a great class! It's interesting and pretty easy, although the grading scale is 93 and above to get an A. He's a nice guy, and willing to help.

Very nice guy. Don't have to worry about the reading, tests are based on notes, but are very specific and hard to tell what's going to be on there. Grading scale stinks. Better include what he's looking for in the discussion questions
