Shes very passionate and very well organized (especially for an art course lol). You HAVE to attend lectures and take really good notes. No text book, and not TOO much art memorization needed. If you're a good writer, that'll definitely help you out as a large portion of the exams are essays. She's scary at first but participate and shell love you

I took her for ARTH 221; it was very hard because I didn't understand and it was hard to follow her lectures. Decided to stick with her for this class and pay attention from the beginning and took great notes. Received a much better grade and have come to really enjoy her classes. Make sure you are on her good side she is really understanding.

I had Dr. Braysmith through out my undergraduate degree for Art History. She is a great professor who cares about her students, the subject, and the community. I would recommend her class to everyone. Even if you have a hard time with the course material she is there to help. Grades off how much effort you put into the class. She is worth taking.

Second time having a great class with her! This one did not even require a text! Awesome professor as always :) Sometimes lets you use your notes on the essay midterm as well. She bends over backwards to help her students in any way she can. Wish I needed another Art History class so I could take her again :(

Absolutely LOVED her class. Very knowledgeable about her subject and sometimes lets the class move over into political debates. She helped me in every possible way when I was confused on one of our big projects. I'm making it a point to take her for another Art History class, and I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone else who needs to take one!

I had Dr.Braysmith for both HUM221 and HUM222. She is such a great teacher, she knows her stuff. I absolutley loved her class and fell in love with it because she was so passionate about it. It is not easy and there is a lot of inforamtion but she lets you know what you NEED to know. It's tough but you learn a lot!

She is an amazing professor, I've learned so much from her. She has helped me out quite a few times regarding questions I had. You cannot be lazy in this class, you must work for your grade. this professor is one of the best ive ever had. she is an extremely hard and expects a lot of her students. her tests are slide id's and essays. (for the hum 1 and 2 classes) however, she knows ALOT!!!! about what she teaches and tells real stories and makes the learning interesting. she loves the subject and it made me want to learn!!!!!!!!!!
