Best professor I've ever had! Simply put, she's amazing, she makes a serious effort to connect with and know each student beyond the surface level. Classes require effort and there is a significant amount of work, but if that effort is made you will get a great deal from her classes. If she taught more than 2 courses I would have taken them. A+++++

my FAVORITE professor at HCoB. She definitely grades her assignment hard, but she tries to get to know every student. She doesn't lecture down to her students, but instead tries to relate to how they think. AMAZING professor

I was not very interested in taking business comm. The class very easily could have been a waste of time. But Dr. Hoger really showed up all semester. She made an effort to connect with everyone in the class, and seemed to genuinely care about each student as an individual. Easily one of the most intelligent, witty professors at WMU

Professor is a very nice lady. There are a lot of assignments, the grading is very stringent, and there are a lot of handouts. The class is more useful if you attend. Be detail-oriented with your writing!

Dr. Hoger is a really nice teacher. The class has assignment after assignment and she doesn't get them back to you in a timely matter, at all. she grades kinda hard. I can never seem to get higher than a B on the assignments even after going in for office hours. Her expectations on her assignments very unclear. LOTS of busy work.

Ms. Hoger is a very nice teacher and tries to make the class interesting. However, some of the assignments were useless. I also didn't approve of the way she graded. It's not a difficult class, she just gives a lot of assignments with pretty much no instructions.

Very dedicated academic professional who has NEVER worked in the business world! Yes! It obvious in her classes. They're focused on academic theory -- an ivory world that is way too isolated from the real world! Her communication could also be more explicit; it's too vague on specifics. Nice person, though. Eggheads like her!:) I liked her!
