This is a great class if it is required, or if you want to boost your GPA. I wouldnt recommend it if you are majoring in the field or if you actually want to learn about sociology in depth. If you study the vocab and chapter summaries at the end of the chapters, the exams are really easy. I never studied more than 1hr for any test and always got

I was very disappointed with Dr. Carter when I was in her class. I did not learn anything in her class, except how to make a 100 on Geo Quizzes. She is a good person at heart, but she needs to care about teaching Sociology Intro. In fact, she did not enjoy teaching us Spring 2006, thankfully we had Dak and Sam. =(

Dr. Carter is a great professor. Thanks to her, we had good teacher aids like Sam and Dak. Her tests are very easy as long as you study. I made an easy A in her class. I didn't like the map quizzes so I did not take them, but for those who did and passed that's good because it shows you studied. Dr. Carter is real and I hope she stays that way.

Carter's teaching aids were the teachers in this class and they were great, but Dr. Carter never taught. She was always too busy being mean to people. She hated the baseball players and would always enbarrass them in class. I your an athlete don't ake her class.

She wasn't my professor but we had a French class together. She is a really cool lady and has some funny stories. I highly recommend her ! Way to go Holly!!!!
