He is a really nice professor, beware of his accent, it is hard to understand but if you pay attention and don't get distracted you will be fine. Study the slides and do your labs on time. His exams are kind of long. His exams are online thru blackboard. He does reply back to emails too. Read the slides and pay attention. Have a B so far.

me and my 3 other computer science major friends in this class ALL struggled through this mess of a class. There was a week and a half of class where he just didn't show up, no fare warning, either. His lectures are long and boring. You can barely understand him or hear him unless you sit in the front row. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS PLEASE!

I don't know why everybody's comments here are negative. He's a really nice teacher. Took him in summer and made A. His tests are long, but not hard. If you study power point slides, you should do good. Questions are straight forward. All homework and programming projects done online on myprogramminglab. Book is not necessary.

Totally useless, unorganized, doesn't response to email, doesn't help when you come to his office. This robot only knows how to run and test your program, no more no less. If your project runs correctly but reports an error on his machine, expect a 30 without any explanation or email response regarding the grade.

This was his first yr teaching STATs and it definitely showed. Taught/talked straight from the book. I took this class during the summer and pulled a B, however I still would NOT recommend taking this Professor. I paid for tutoring sessions before every test.

This IS the worst professor ever! He reads from slides, and only from slides - forget asking any thing if its not on the slide this robot cannot answer it. He speaks so quiet that the computer hum drowns him out, and when you ask him to speak up or say you can't hear him, he blows you off and says "ok...ok" and still talks in a whisper.

Yes it's all true - teacher knows his stuff but it's hard to stay awake in his class. I got used to his accent so it's just a matter of completing labs, do homework, lots of reading & sitting in front to hear him!

As the first review. Soft spoken: Can't hear him from more than ten feet away. Reads from powerpoint slides. Doesn't make eye contact. Gets his English verb tenses wrong, even on tests. Seems like he just can't come up with the right words to express himself: Lots of false starts.

This Professor doesn't deserve to be called a professor. UHD should realize that people like him shouldn't be teaching. We are paying for this class but don't get anything from it but headaches, stress, gray hair and then ending in dropping or failing.

Unable to speak English clearly. Extremely difficult to understand due to poor English pronounciation. Knows his computer literature, but not good at expressing teachings to class. Reads off slides...just like reading book. Why go to class?

Worst teacher in history. Don't take him if you don't have to. But sorry, he is the only teacher in UHD teaching Programming Language Concept. Good luck and get over with your life, if you are a CS major. Expect to retake or drop this class.
