He is a very good teacher who cares if his students understand the content. I took him for psych statistics and I am not good at math. He managed to make it easy to understand. The tests are mainly based on homework and the final is based on the previous tests and a little homework. If you pay attention and ask questions you will be fine!

WAY too much for an online class. There's no textbook to buy which is nice but he gives you 60-100 pages of reading every week. There are 2-3 papers due EVERY week except test weeks. Tests are extremely difficult. If you want to spend 10 hrs/week on homework take this class!!! Extremely tough grader and he isn't clear on what he expects.

Doesn't have a clear plan, changed the syllabus a ton, made up exams the day or night before, you had no idea how he was grading you. He seemed to grade with his feelings, everything was arbitrary. Copied lectures straight out of the book and read from the slides in a monotone. Couldn't answer anyone's questions and very disorganized.

I took this online during the summer and he was a great professor. He answered all my questions and responds quickly. There are a lot of discussions but as long as you do it they are easy points. Tests can be a little tricky but most of the answers can be found in his power points. There was only 4 assignments and tests. Overall good class to take.

I took applied psych online. For the most part it was easy. Discussions were interesting and there weren't too many assignments. His tests were difficult, though. There were a lot of short answer essays that he seemed to be pretty picky about. Overall, it was a decent class.

I think this class was made more difficult than it really is. He confused me on a lot of things I knew before this class. His tests are mostly short answer and he's very picky about them. He's very helpful outside of class but spends all class on one example problem.

While he is a nice guy outside of class and does go over any questions people have, his teaching style was very unhelpful. I had taken a previous stat class and did very well; I struggled in his class. NEVER miss a test; you probably can't make it up. Tests are very, very difficult. I recommend a different prof for this class if possible.

Very good prof! I was VERY apprehensive about taking this class but he explained everything so thoroughly and makes it very easy to understand! He keeps explaining until everyone is the class understands! He gives homework but they're not hard at all & you'll see the same questions on the test! I got an F on my first test and still managed to pass!

He is very boring to listen to. Also, he is very unclear and unhelpful with the final paper. He is not afraid to put extra stress on students during finals week by making you rewrite the whole paper that week. He is lazy. Proof of this is that he waited 2-3 weeks to grade papers the day before the final. Never take him.

Excellent professor. Wants discussion in class. Very funny, has a good way of dealing with problematic students who raise dumb issues or questions. Kind of comes off as a jerk the first week of class, but after that is really a cool guy.

Nice guy, but really boring class.Just do all assignments, study lecture slides, and use the study guide and you'll do fine.I won't take him again, but I wouldn't do the class over either.He does know what he is talking about. Just watch the webct scores, his TA screwed up a few of mine and i would have failed if i hadn't noticed it.
