Easiest class ever-you will learn the basics but wont get very deep into the subject-Just use the FORMULAR. Midterm & final are open notes, she gives very close sample problems beforehand. Sometimes doesn't understand the question you are asking. OK notes

If you want to get an A but learn nothing from the class take this one. You only really need to show up for the last class before a test and for the tests to pass. Over 1/2 the class got A or B in the class. Very easy to pass but not taught well.

You have to want to learn the subject, and take initiative because Hong Zhou doesn't care about grades. She wants you to learn, and makes the tests very simple and easy (I was out of the midterm in 5 minutes), and is generous in point distribution.

One of the nicest teachers I have met. She is a very happy person and likes to teach. She knows a lot too, just look at her accomplishments. Impressed. She does have a very thick accent. I intend on taking Engineering courses with her in the future!

i took her calc 19a class, and all the tests were open book/notes. in spite of this, i did fully learn the material. she isn't the easier person to understand, but she can teach basic math well and you will get an a.

Ms. Zhou is the easiest Math/Science professor I've ever had. If you are here for a diploma and that's it, take her --- unless the class is a prereq for something else! The downside of the ease is that you won't learn much.
