He's not bad in all honesty. Material is very straightforward and does a solid job explaining it - just pay attention and participate and you'll get it. He knows the material really well, but forgets that we don't. He's no better or worse than an intro accounting/economics professor.

Dr. Gassman is very unorganized and usually keeps the class late because he talks for too long on points. He mostly reads off the slides with little explanation. There are no part-marks in his class, you either get full marks or nothing.

By far the worst prof I've ever had! I'm a straight A student and the highest grade I can possibly get in this course is a B. His marking is ridiculous and he is unclear on what he is asking on test/assignment questions. He'll dock marks for the stupidest of reasons like not including units with your numeric answers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Ok, well everything has pretty much already been said. But I do think it is worth noting that he was asking students to write in their course evaluations specifically what they would like him to improve on and do better, which I think is worth some brownie points... maybe... Too bad all of his classes seem to be mandatory ones haha.

The prof is very helpful when you email him and see him. Students need to just engage. He will bump marks if you show you were right. Students dislike him often because they sit in class on facebook and make no effort at all. I have paid attention and had consistent A+ with him, and I have had him 3 times. Learn some respect, students.

Wow, can you give negative points. Worst prof in the league. I would rather take a clap bomb from Danny Heatly in the face before coming to this class. Not to mention the he has the attention span of a gold fish. Get it together Gussy, get it together.

This professor is by far the worst professor I have experienced in my four year university career. He is incomprehensible, careless, and you have to teach yourself the material. If it is at all possible you should take this class online through Athabasca or maybe Acadia if possible. I should have done the same but didn't listen.. you're warned..

Clearly a genius in his field. With that being said, I literally had to fight the constant urge to get up and throw a chair at him. His lectures are so mind numbingly unbearable that I don't recommend you take any sharp objects with you to class.

Operations Management/Stats: He is definitely an intellect. I do not wish to bash his knowledge, however it takes a certain person to be a teacher... A teacher is willing to assist students in all ways possible. I did not find this in either of his classes.

Gassman is not a great prof. He puts in a genuine effort but it is somehow lost in translation. Not too hard to get a decent mark - assignments are out of text and pretty easy. Cheat sheets allowed for exams. Gassman knows the material but does not know how to teach it.

Horrible prof. Confused me more then helped me with the class material. Only good thing about his teaching was that the practice exams he gave us before the finals were extremely similar to the actual exams, and he went over how to do every question in class, so the exams weren't too painful.

Horrible teacher. Knows his subject matter very well, but therefore can not understand that it doesn't come so easily to all of his students. Marking is totally unreasonable, marks are taken away very easily and for requirements that are not made clear. Everyone in the class seems to have problems with him.

Terrible Professor. He has worked in Operations management and statistics, and obviously knows the subject matter well, however has no concern for students. He will do the bare minimum to help students, and never more. He loses assignments and is almost impossible to contact.

Dr. Gassman is obviously a genious when it comes to statistics, however, when it comes to students - not so much. If you want to be a statistician, or can learn ver well on your own, then this is the class for you. Otherwise, you'll be frustrated and all your other marks will suffer for it.

Gassman was the worst prof I have had. He cannot teach, is unhelpful to students and is inconsistent in his grading. He will not correct mistakes by his markers..he tells students to study the sample final exam and then the final is nothing like it. Gus needs to go!

This man should not be a professor. He is very intelligent and assumes way too much of his students, but he has no idea how to teach. He's hard to understand because he mumbles and his explainations are horrible. Avoid him if you want a decent grade in the class. You'll stop going to class if you have him.
