Make sure you study the notes. The test format may take a little getting used to, but not too hard. DO NOT waste your money buying the textbook. I really think he should tell all of his students about that before the spend $125 or whatever on a textbook.

He is awful. He belittles students and discourages class participation. He demands students to be robots who never stop taking notes. His tests are awful, the format is something out of a prison camp. Sadly enough he is full of wonderful information, but won't establish a relationship with students to produce a healthy growth of the knowledge.

Howard knows his stuff, but also likes to add in his personal beliefs. He says you need the book, but never once uses it, so save the $115. Watch out for the tests, while not hard, the format will definately throw you. Good luck!

Dr. Howard knows his stuff and is really good about imparting it to the class. However, don't ever go to his office to talk to him, he doesn't give students the time of day when he's not in class. Be sure and keep up with your test grades.
