Hurts is one of the best professors at Fresno City. Lectures are hilarious, gives out study guides you can use on the exams, labs usually finish early. I highly recommend him!

This is one of my favorite professor at FCC. He is such an amazing and outstanding man. Very helpful and informative. I think he is almost retire, so take him as soon as you can. Recommend for everyone.

Hurtt is a great professor . He gives out study guides to all the lecture exams which helps a lot. His lectures are a little boring , his power points are all pics from the book and he talks about it so you have to listen carefully to take notes. Overall, I highly recommend him. He wants his students to succeed . His class isn't hard at all.

Hands down the best biology professor at Fresno City. Lectures are brief, and easy to understand. Study guides can be used during the tests. Your lab work, flora and fauna journal, and semester project are vital to your grade in his class. For extra credit, you can do 5 Bio News for 50 points to help boost your grade. Easy to get an A in his class.

He was a great prof! He always provided study guides, even for the lab exams. Although his lectures are somewhat disorganized, he's hilarious so it's bearable. He's very understanding. Seriously, just show up and you'll pass the class.

Mr. Hurtt's lectures can be a little long only because he repeats himself a lot, BUT he's hilarious. He gives out study guides for all his exams, including the lab exams and he reviews all the answers. There isn't a reason you shouldn't pass the class. He does grade the lab books, but besides that there's no hw. Take him!

Just show up to class and you will pass. Lectures can be a little long, but he answers any questions students might have. When tests are coming up he gives out study guides and goes over the answers in class for both lab and lecture. You don't really need the textbook, but you do need the lab manual because he does grade it.

His lectures are pretty straight forward. His sense of humor helps you get through the lectures awake. He goes over every test with the class so you better be passing his class. No excuses he makes it very possible for you to pass. If you need clarification on certain things he's very helpful. I enjoyed his class very much.

Mr. Hurtt is an overall caring, helpful professor. He has his sense of humor, which you'll find evident the first day of class, but he's one of the good ones. His lectures can be boring (since he teaches straight from the text), and his labs are laid back. He goes over his exams in class (with the answers included), which is very helpful.

Mr. Hurtt has an interesting sense of humor. He loves what he teaches and does help when you have questions. His lectures are long and boring but his labs are fun and easy. His teaching skill are not my favorite but does provide you with study guides for his lectures. Not an easy A.

Mr. Hurtt is a very easy professor. He like to joke around but lectures can be somewhat boring. He provides 50 points of extra credit that can boost you a letter grade. Just show up to lectures and labs are very easy if you work with the students at your table. But make sure you do your homework and exams are straight from the study guide.

I took Bio-5 as a Hybrid online course for another teacher, and by week 3 we ended up with Mr. Hurtt for the rest of the semester. Very amusing, loves his job and pretty helpful and easy-going. I can't say much for his testing however, because of this rare circumstance of multiple teachers they weren't his tests. He did grade on a curve however!

He is a very funny guy, however he is a very tough grader and does not ease up on anything! He doesn't really provide you with a study guide for tests, and he doesn't provide much information about your grade. Wouldn't really recommend him to many people, only if you like a lot of homework piled on in one week.

This class is easy and he is the best teacher to go to if you wanna a simple A! He is also give big time extra credit but still do the work to pass because the extra credit doesn't cover everything! Its helpful and the class if interesting. Its impossible to not pass the class and if its hard your not trying. He is funny and does jokes and helps.

Hurtt has to be the easiest Bio professor out there! He's extremely helpful as well and very funny! He gives you study guides and those study guides are the test basically. Labs are mandatory but he makes them pretty fun. Overall great teacher. TAKE HIM!
