Very interesting professor , however he came off as very arrogant and full of himself. He did not let students re-do papers until they bought his book of corrections. I survived however. Next time be nicer to freshmen- it's only there first semester.

Took this professor for every English class required and some electives. Great teacher and person! I was not a major and a few years after graduation he wrote me a recommendation for grad school. Take his classes as much as possible!

For those who like me, enjoy debating what they have read and are not opposed to doing the reading required, this class is a pleasure. Prof. Dignon is a fair grader and as long as you have done the required reading for class, you'll do well. Highly recommend him. Would definately take him again.

Dr. Dignon is an excellent English Prof. and a wonderful human being. His class is demanding and time consuming, but once you do the work and get your A, you will realize it was all worth it. All you people who complain about too much work, what are you doing in college in the first place?!

Great reading material, strays from the generic. Extremely challenging and rewarding... if you do the work. Encourages participation, which I think makes classes flow better. He's not full of himself (cough-cough- Tytell) Even though he's hard, I think he's one of the best the Dept. has to offer.
