Taylor's a nice guy, grades based on mid-term, final, class participation, and weekly quizzes. The exams are hard, but he shares the exam from the previous year as practice. Quizzes are 1 question off of the reading. Read the book carefully and take good notes in class and you should do okay.

I would have to say that his class was definitely a challenge, but it was not as hard as everyone made it seem. If you read, go to class and take good notes, and study for the quizzes and tests you are pretty much guaranteed an A or B. He is tough, but if you work hard you will do fine. Overall, I thought he was a good professor. Learned a lot

I wish someone would've warned me about him before I registered for it. Even the advisors warn you not to take him. He is the hardest teacher and to top it off his sarcastic smirk when he hands you a failed exam urked me! There are quizzes every week. Get ready to memorize countries and their cities to label on the maps. The test are ridiculous.

He's bad, like boring and tough bad. He makes you read a chapter on your own and quizzes you on it. there is one every week. He is the worst professor I have gotten so far! His midterms are on things he has never mentioned in class before, so good luck!

I had to take Dr. Taylor's class twice which I have never had to do in any class. So that shows how difficult it is. Take his class seriously, study A LOT, and go to class- you will be okay. It is a ton of work for a 100 level class and Taylor is the only professor. I did learn a lot in this class, but glad it is over. Quizzes are most important!

DON'T EVER!!take this teacher I 100% agree with the other comments, he is a very very very hard grader and it does not matter how much effort you put into the class you will not please this man!! For now, he is the only Geography teacher at SXU, but if you can take someone else please do so.
