absolutely awful. never know what he's talking about. assignments are cliche and subjects discussed in class are irrelevant. he has no interest in personal opinions unless they mirror his. if this class wasn't a requirement, i would have dropped it after the first day.

Had him for 2 courses. The first, the 101 for minors, he showed a vague disinterest in teaching, letting the TA do the work (we were a large class). But come Drawing 2, he knew we were dedicated, and gave us much more of his focus with fantasic result

O'Donnell's an amazing artist, but lacks clarity transposing his own artistic language to his students. Also, he compares students to each other, rather than to their own work. But he's British. And the accent is hot.
