Worst class ever taken! AVOID by all means. Grading is subjective and not fair pictures of your work. Submitted a memo for proof reading; received an answer: "Looks great". Then submitted that same memo for final grading and only received an 80% score. Today something looks great in her eyes, tomorrow it is all wrong. Avoid her by all means!

Her Grad school tests are take home/open book, but they are as difficult as taking a regular closed book exam. If you read textbook, do homework, you chould be all right. She doesn't answer emails promptly, sometimes it takes a day for her to reply, so make sure you email your questions to her in the morning. Her tax case is a little time consuming

She gives partial credit for everything. Allows ppl to work together on tax returns. Informative class, just wish she explained better. I felt I know the just of tax, but can not perform it. Class was ok, reads off powerpoints.

She is a great teacher. The homework really helps you to understand everything. Take notes in class and read those sections in the book. She really wants you to LEARN tax not just memorize pointless information. She is great I would take her for more accounting classes.

Comment:
Very interesting discussions in class applying the material to real life. Explains things very slowly and clearly and takes as much time as needed to do so. If you go to her office hours with your tax return projects, she will tell you how to correct your errors to get a good grade. Tests are pretty difficult and will take every second of class.
