Comment:
I recently switched majors from EE to CE because SUNY no longer has anyone who can call themselves an engineer in the EE department. They had some good people but they let them go. I would recommend that if any student is thinking about coming to SUNY, don't major in electrical engineering.

EASY. If you show up to his class you should receive an A. Easy to understand and passionate about his work. he tells you all the material you need to know before an exam if you don't get higher then a B there's something wrong.

As a non-engineering major, I loved having Otis this semester! He's such a sweet man, truly passionate about his work and his students. Although I had moments where I was lost, he always made himself approachable and willing to help. He's a lenient grader, a fan of partial credit, and very supportive! Take a class with him if you've got the chance.

Otis is a pretty decent professor. He is very passionate about his work and is easy to learn from. Sometimes, he tends to rush through material in lectures and the exams are really involved. Take his classes only if you know how to study and ask questions.

Otis was one of my favorite professors so far during my college career. The class is very interesting and informative, but also REALLY easy if you're good at math and know how to study. This class made me want to change my major to engineering. It rocked.

Prof Otis is an excellent teacher! Most students don't like him because they are lazy, but if you actually are willing to work, then he is the man to learn from. The course material is tough, and he expects his students to work hard. (You can't do your homework the night before it is due.) He is also a friendly guy and extremely approachable.

Completely useless. Introduces huge chunks of material at the very end of the semester due to poor time management, and expects all students to be able to understand it.

Seems to be a nice person but not a good teacher. Will give projects to be completed in short period of time and no help at all. Never take his course, but all engineering students have to take his course since its required. He picks some students from the class and make them his favourites and those people get A's others will be suffering...Bad

One of my favorite teachers. Very helpful, just wants students to do well. Such a cutie. Not interested at all in the subject, but had to take it for GE. Wasn't that bad, he sorta made it interesting.

He is such a great guy, so helpful and he really just wants his students to do well. The class in itself threw me off, I expected to learn more about types of renewable energy, but it was mainly technology based. Still a very informative class though. I highly recommend him!

This guy is the most caring and selfless professor I have ever met. Really cares about his students and will bend over backwards to help them. Tests are long so you must know material very well. Homework often. You will learn a lot and have fun. Very entertaining and great personality!
