The book is not required but don't bother it doesn't help. He constantly just kept writing throughout the 2.5 hrs so if you're not a fast writer or can't keep up, make sure you have a camera ready. He just regurgitates what he has in his notes that he writes without any good example or elaboration apart from derivations. I suggest not taking him.

Most Hectic course. Heavy Lectures. Group Assignment every week. Lots of Notes, reading and hardwork. But Surprisingly Exams were not so tough. It turned out to be shocking and getting final grade as "A".

He is always willing to help when you need it. His tests are easy if you study and don't look for an easy way out like most NJIT students. Unlike many teachers, his lectures are helpful.

I love this guy, Rao is literally the best professor in the ME department at NJIT, sadly he won't be teaching after this semester as he became the chairman of the dept. I feel bad for everyone who will now have to take someone else for Fluids

Great professor. Teaches clearly and makes fluid mechanics interesting. He covers everything you need for the homework and tests. One of the best professors in the ME department.

THIS GUY IS A GREAT TEACHER. HE DIDN'T GET THE BEST TEACHING AWARD FOR NOTHING. Makes a boring and hard subject interesting and relevant. Make sure you study and never underestimate fluid dynamics.

Unfair grading, 2 ppl with the same results will get 2 diff grades.. explains good but exams are harder than the book so theirs no way to be 100% ready for the exams. final is even harder. if you re literally 2mins late he'll count u absent. no matter what.

TOugh nut to crack, Very tough subject, I was almost s**t scared that i would dunk that subject, but very liberal in grading. Does not believe in a grade below B. So u are not screwed. help a lot If u dont understand.
