After taking five classes with Dr. Duncan I can honestly say he is still one of my favorite teachers. Yes, he expects you to read the textbook, but anyone who can't do that shouldn't be in college to start with. His classes are easy if you pay attention and do the homework. He is also extremely helpful to those students who show him respect.

Dr. Ian D. Duncan is a great teacher! I have had Dr. Duncan for a couple years now. He gives pretty clear examples of the concepts he is teaching. He gives everyone a good chance at getting good grades and understanding material, but he does throw 1 or 2 curve balls a semester - he expects students to read the book...

Easily the worst professor I've ever had. The main problem with him is that he will teach one thing in the class, and yet the homework problems are completely different. Then, when a test comes up, he gives us examples from the book, but he completely rewords the questions on the test. He can also be very rude at times. Simply terrible.

I like Duncan. The students who don't like him are mostly business administration majors who aren't smart enough to comprehend Accounting. Duncan is very nice to dumb Accounting down enough for them.
