I had Ian for my freshmen seminar a few years ago. He is very intelligent, a superior educator, a great easygoing guy, easy to ask questions from, and great to talk to outside of class. I'm not an english student, but I'm considering taking another class of his just for fun. Hes one of Albion's best professors, hands down.

Ian's an odd bird. Very specific. Loves group projects. DEFINITELY has something in mind even when he gives you 'open-ended' assignments-- DEFINITELY ask questions and find out EXACTLY what he is looking for. Important survival tip.
