I had Dr. Amachree in the late 80s. His lectures did occasionally drag, but he was extremely thorough and knowledgeable! At that time some of the handouts were ?dated?; however the information is the same regardless of when it was printed. If you read his handouts and used his study guides, the class is an easy A.

I hated this class. he is a stickler for attendance and if you have an excuse he still acts as if it was a problem. He may be a nice person but his teaching SUCKS!! the class was not interesting and his tests were basically useless.

Not a good class to take! it is so hard to understand what he is saying! his test are like 100 question, and you have two test for the final! did not learn a thing in this class, and you have to go to class. he has a ridicules attendance policy!

Dr. Amachree is an awful professor. In class, it is nothing but handouts, and his attendance policy is ridiculous. He is very inconsiderate and rude, and appears not to care at all about his students. I would recommend taking a different professor if you are interested in this class.

This is one of the most boring teachers I have ever taken, I love sociology but he ruins that! He gives WAY TOO MANY handouts, he has 175 question POP quizzes, His test's repeat question about 5 times, and so you either get 5 right or 5 wrong! Dont take him!

HE GIVES A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF HANDOUTS, WHICH IS MAKES UP MOST OF THE QUESTIONS ON THE QUIZZES. HE SHOWS VIDEOS WHICH IS ALSO APART OF THE QUIZ. MOST OF THE QUIZZES CONSIST OF 150 QUESTIONS, 50 OF WHICH IS EXTRA CREDIT. YOU CAN'T REALLY FAIL THIS CLASS BECAUSE HE GIVES A WHOLE LOT EXTRA CREDIT!!!

Not the easiest class, but if you show up you'll be ok, he gives tons of xtra credit for attendance. His test are fairly long 150 q's a week on average and about 100 pages of articles. you have to put forth effort, but other then effort not much is required.

First of all I have to give this guy some credit...he knows his****, while it may be difficult to understand him at times because he is from Nigeria, he is a very well educated man. As long as you don't miss class and pay attention you will do fine. I have never read any of his handouts or the book and I got an A in the class. He's a smart man.

B.O.R.I.N.G!!! Talks the entire time, no class discussion or student input. READS to the class verbatim from articles that have been copied too many times. The tests are ridiculous! Some people have an allegience to this guy, but I still can't figure out why! I didn't learn a thing in his classes! Waste of time and money!
