Comment:

Knew what she wanted, knew what she was talking about. But I'd hoped for more concrete teaching, instead of the kindergarten level scribble exercises she made us do, and for more creative expression. She did want creative, but she wanted it all in her way. Didn't think the class was worth $400 in the least. It makes me angry that I wasted my money.

Ingrid is totally amazing! She is well informed and involved in the art community. She is a fantastic resource for all students, offering great advice based on her own extensive experience. She is genuinely concerned about her students and keeps in touch after school. I highly recommend her as a prof!

Ingrid was totally awsome, with lots of fun, interesting stories and a real passion for contemporary art. She can be a little aloof - but if you put in a real effort to learn she appreciates that and responds well.

I had Ingrid for ART 311 (Painting) and ART 498 (Honours Seminar). I found her to be a dedicated and engaged instructor and yes, a hard marker but she really cared about one's development as an artist. She also had great sense of humour and our classes had a great blend of learning, humour and inspiration.

Ingrid Percy is the worst prof i have EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!. she is unclear, unreliable and you never know when she is going to stick a knife in your back. i would HIGHLY NOT recommend this teacher to anyone, even my worst enemy!!! she has no ability to teach! it was a painful experience going to her classes and i wish i could get my money back!!

Ingrid was the most helpful prof I had at UVic. She's a very talented artist and really cares for your growth as an artist and for your future career. She was ALWAYS there for me when I needed help. I find her bright, creative, dedicated, polite, kind, sweet & funny! Trust me, I'm not the only person to say this! Highly recommend this prof!!!!! :D
